After listening to some great podcasts the last few weeks, I've been inspired to perhaps try my hand at making one -- couldn't find any dealing with great overlooked NES games, so strongly considering that for a theme. Any interest out there?

Another sign we're slowly moving to a paperless society -- I went to my local bank today to depoist money to find they no longer used depoist slips, to my surprise. Istead I swipe my debit card, enter my PIN, hand over the money, and get a receiet. Well, at least it's easier this way.

I'm not sure what her name is, but I'm reminded watching this old Star Trek episode 'Space Seed' just how very sexy that this girl who falls for Kahn in the episode is. Redheads rock!

Picked up Bioshock Infante on sale on Steam this week, hope to find time to play tomorrow. I hope it's as good as I heard. Loved the original BioShock.

Slept like crap last night and have to go to bed early or I'll fall asleep at work tomorrow (even listening to gaming podcasts!). I hate only being home for 2.5 hours before going to bed at 8 PM, but I need the 12 hours sleep as badly as 'Warrior needs food!'

Home from work today with one of the worst colds of my life. Be easier if someone just took me out back and shot me. (sniff)

Just purchased my 150th game on GOG. Combine that with the 30 on Steam and I think I've played maybe 20 percent of all these games! But I haven't paid more then $7 for anything on GOG.

Well, I didn't believe this when I read it, so I tried it out today while I was at work. If you play the old Interplay PC game Fragile Alliance (1997) for more then 6 hours, it automaticaly quits, with a message saying to take a break and go outside! Never saw a game do that.

Finally had some time this weekend to play a older Bioware game I picked up on GOG's weekend sale last weekend, Jade Empire. Fun game, just as good as Bioware's other stuff.

So I use a desktop PC and a friend uses a Ipad. We want to do some online free gaming together (cards, board games, etc.) but can't find anything that we can play together online with both of our devices. Anything out there?

Despite claims it's running, I can't get Netflix to load on either my PC or XBox 360. Even the website isn't loading. Help?

The YouTube to MP3 Converter website (http://www.youtube-mp3.org/) is VERY nice but I wish they didn't cap the conversions at 20 minutes! Now I gotta find something like this that can do longer videos.

I really hate headphones. I swear I'm buying new ones every six months or so. The cheap ones don't last long and the expensive ones don't last much longer either!

Spent some time tonight playing the new FTL: Advanced Features. A great game is even better! I still can't beat the Rebel Flagship even on Easy, though. Off to watch some YouTube videos to see how people have done it as they go through the game.

I just got a call from a recruiter I've been working with and got a job offer! It's for Citizen's Bank, office/data process work. Full time, 8-5 M-F, $14/h It's only promised to last 5 months, but the chances of getting pernamently employed somewhere in Citizens of this are pretty good. Assuming background/credit check passes (it should) I'd start the 21st.

Since I have some free time due to being laid off on Monday, I started hacking away at Uncharted Waters for the SNES. Love the sequel, but never did finish this one. I intend to change that, so at the very least I can point at something and say 'look what I did this week!'

Well, I went into work today and was laid off. Despite being there for 3 1/2 years, having lots of experience and skills, and a pay raise a month ago, they told me it was a 'business decsion' and there wasn't enough work this year to justify the staff size. Now I'm home when I shouldn't be trying to process all this.

Any suggestion for reheating frozen pancakes? I tried microwave, toaster, and toaster oven, and each way either doesn't heat enough or continues to 'cook' them making them hard and brittle.
