  1. Thanks for the advice guys regarding conversion into a .wav file, will try it in the next few days and report back!
  2. I'm not au fait with how to do that, if someone could point me in the right direction to learn how to do it, that would be great. Failing that, I'm happy to send a copy to someone so they can preserve it and upload it for others.
  3. @atarigrub This is a "back-up" copy on a period cassette as below so it's not the original packaging but I imagine it would have been a 'baggie' release?
  4. Hi all, Going through a job lot of recently acquired home made cassettes at the moment and came across this... I'd always been a fan of Venus Voyager 2 by English Software seeing as it was one of the first games I bought for my Atari 400 back in '84 but never knew there was a Venus Voyager (1)? Nothing on Atarimania and can't even find any period ads mentioning it, was it ever released? Program is in BASIC and is loaded via RUN"C:", having long inter record gaps. Program is in about seven parts, first part the animated intro as per two first pictures, then the main program before loading 5 or 6 single record files before the "Push joystick" starting page. I can think the only reason for this is early copy protection! Game plays well and appears to be a finished product, any ideas or thoughts on this one?

  6. Greetings, One soundtrack edition please, I'm in the UK Best regards
  7. Thanks for posting these, I did actually have them on the disk jackets but they fell off after 20+ years! Time to dig the 822 out and reprint them!
  8. Excellent news, count me in for one please Panos! Thanks, Dom
  9. The 400 was my first ever computer, I wanted something more powerful than the 2600 and the 800 was waaay out of financial reach for my parents but I was lucky enough to receive a 400 in June 1983 for my tenth birthday! (my uncle had an 800 since October 1982 so had planted the seed!) It was my stepping stone into the world of Atari and I am forever grateful to that little 16k bundle of joy (and my parents!) for hours of gaming, BASIC programming, etc etc. Regarding the 410 models, I also find the earlier Japanese carry-handle model far superior to the 410P Honk Kong variants. Superior build quality, easier to service and most of all, more reliable!
  10. Hi Jon, Great to know you're 'back on the scene' , was a BIG Multi-boot user in the 80's (and still am today, 1050's in daily use here!) Also, slightly mind-boggling to be playing a new game from you in 2019, loving it!! I, for one, would love a special/anniversary Multi-boot edition in any guise - Although I had many different menu makers such as Rob.C, always came back to Multi-boot for ease of use and flexibility. Anyway, I fear we may be straying off topic here but before we get back OT I'm furiously checking my disks now, my master disks from 2001 is showing a 'high score' of 105 so far!!
  11. I've been using these on my 810, 1050 and 1200XL without any issues :-) https://www.psuexpress.co.uk/products/alesis-dm10-drum-module-power-supply-psu-replacement-adapter-uk-9v-ac
  12. Big shout out to Slor and his good lady from me...Have been buying her dust covers for some years now, always the same top quality and service :-) Even custom made dust covers for my XC11 and SIO2SD are a great fit, cannot recommend them highly enough!

  14. Brilliant! An ingenious workaround, thank you for this information!
  15. No. They're dual layer mylars.
  16. Hi, Are there any plans to re-manufacture the single layer XE Mitsumi mylars? I could do with at least 5! Regards

  19. At last! Please put me down for one rubber print head and one ink roller, thank you!
  20. You might find this video of interest, it's from when Jon (Flashjazzcat) upgraded my 1200XL and found said EPROM's , along with the unusual cartridge connector.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcovJAqYSE4&t=1s EPROMS, etc are mentioned at 6:45 onwards...
  21. Please put me down for one if possible, thank you!
  22. Thanks for the info guys - I have been selecting the FAT32 option but I'll try the link above and let you know how I get on!
  23. OK, I've now replaced my SDrive.ATR with the one mentioned above and the delay is gone, all is good again - Thank you! Still having trouble making another card though. I'm using a Sandisk microSD 2GB, formatted with FAT32 and using the SDrive.ATR, again mentioned above but still just cycles though the four drives and returns an error #$8A...What am I doing wrong?
