At the end of the day, it was only through continual messaging and posting outside of the PM that got a response (unsatisfactory, of course with no REAL information) I admire other peoples optimism and sympathetic leanings toward Sloopy, they have more patience than me (mine ran after approximately the 12th false shipping date) There is still no sign of a VBXE or refund. I would actually prefer the VBXE because I want one. Thats why I ordered one. But to get changing stories like 'yeah its packed ready to be shipped tomorrow' and then 'it's partly built, still awaiting components' and then to 'VBXE's all packed with other bits, will definately ship tomorrow' puts the fear of God into me. I SO wanted this project to come good. I have absolutely no technical knowledge whatsoever and it's people like Candle, FJC (Jon), etc. that manage to drag our beloved machines kicking and screaming into the 21st century with their talent and skill. santosp (Panos) has recently started making excellent devices such as the SDrive micro and SIO2SD micro, his workmanship, communication and quality control are absolutely faultless. No doubt some people out there think I'm being harsh but just look at the facts. And if anyone feels that strongly about it, they are welcome to 'buy' my VBXE slot, it cost me over $150. Be prepared though, you may have a long wait.....

Thanks, but there won't be ANY refunds on this for anyone unfortunately. It's not just me but quite a few others who have nothing to show but empty promises.

I'm sure there will be a new thread starting shortly about this 'VBXE' debacle - suffice to say that they were packed and ready to ship last month, now they are not even finished!! To date I have had 17 (yes, seventeen) promised shipping dates and false tracking information over the entire course of this year.

Well, if anybody speaks to him can they please remind him that he owes a helluva lot of people their VBXE's..... I used to get false information/shipping dates but don't even get them anymore...and before anyone chimes in and says 'He has had personal problems with fire/flood/famine (delete as appropriate)..' that is NO excuse for what has happened in this whole sorry episode. It is nearly a year since order/payment with shipping date of Feb 2012.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I quite like some of the Cosmi releases - Caverns of Khafka, The 'E' Factor, Slinky and Forbidden Forest spring to mind. However, Richard Petty's Talladega was bloody awful!

Sloopy - What's going on, did you post these on Thursday 6 September as promised?? I have been patient for a LONG time and am fed up with broken promises, failed delivery dates (11 up to now). You have posted a statement regarding your personal situation and that has noted for the records, however please realise that you are not the only one who has problems or commitments in life - now is the time to deliver.

Sloopy - You promised to ship the UK package yesterday and issue a tracking number, has this happened?

I have received a PM but my question still hasn't been answered... Sloopy - you state in your PM (amongst many other things) that the UK package is sat on your desk and ready to ship but you forgot to mention one 'minor' detail - when is the package going to be sent??

I've had so many excuses as have probably many others. Was told the package was ready and awaiting shipment then nothing... after more enquiries told the board was still being worked on (!) Excuse after excuse after excuse....very poor.

I think it's about time for an update please.
