    Programmers that write stuff that saves settings in "My Documents" are truly stupid. Settings are SETTINGS! My Documents are MY DOCUMENTS! They are different kinds of files and not interchangable.

      This started bothering me when I'd look for game saves and they aren't in the game directory, instead they are tucked somewhere under My Documents. It also gets cluttered with program installs stuffing their crap in there! ARRghghghghgh!

      From what I know you never go down in color, so never go from a dark beer to a light. Those in the same class should be ok after another.

    wow, i'm now on season 5 of star trek voyager. I will soon complete my mission to watch every single episode of a star trek series.

      I did that earlier this year, watched every episode of every Star Trek series. Voyager had more fun episodes than the others followed by Deep Space 9

    So my cable is part of the rent -- my name is not on it anywhere. I want to get a DVR device to record TV while I'm at work. Can I just buy one off Amazon and use it on my system?

      In your case not very likely as they have to provision each device to enable it to decode their signal. You would have to call them and verify the account to activate such a box.
