Great buyer, fantastic communication, I have to admit because of work I didn't respond as fast as I normally like too but he was completely understanding. Thank you so much for a wonderful transaction and enjoy the games!

Can't wait to get this.

I can't wait to hear what you think of it when you get it! Hey B did you see my reply to your question about the poster in your Halo Poster thread?
-Disjaukifa
D'oh! Yeah, I did see that. Did you want to go through Cafe Press to print it? If so, what size? I'll need to prep the poster file so that it matches the correct dimensions.

EDIT: Shoot me a PM so this doesn't hijack your CC thread.

Thanks! Yeah I figured out the USB issue today so I'm using the Batronix USB Chip Programmer with my Windows XP VM so all is going well!!! However Murphy decided show he's funner side to life again tonight, imagine me, a soldering iron, and a sneeze . . . my finger still hurts from that one!
Hello! Could you please put me down for one of the limited edition ones? Thanks!! Great work and a fun game!
Hey 4ever2600, unfortunately all the Limited Edition versions have been claimed, however I want to keep the $20 version available for those who are interested in that version, if you are interested I can get you just the cartridge with the new label from Brian O. Let me know if that would interest you!
Thanks

I'll take a CIB copy!
Got you on the list!
What an awesome project. Great price, theme, and love things like this coming out. Will support future projects as well....
Much appreciated! Its wonderful to see a community that is so supportive of the homebrew scene!!!!
Please add me to the CIB list, thanks.
Done!
That text label cart looks awesome!!

Yeah I have to admit that text label cartridge turned out way better than I thought or envisioned

I'd be interested in the Atari 520 ST with EPROM programmer pending cost.

I can't guarantee what TVs will be available so its best to go for PAL 50Hz if possible,
Ok I'll make it PAL50 and send it your way tonight for testing, everything else in the game is done! I just need you to verify that is displays correctly!

I play Juno First a lot, as soon as I get enough money I'll be getting a copy of this game! Wonderful game!
-
I would open a case with eBay that way you will at least get your original shipping fees back I believe . . .
-
@disjaukifa: I can do limited testing in order to check that the screen doesn't roll and the colours are OK but I'm not going to have the time to do much play testing unfortunately. I still have quite a bit of work to do on my own games.
Hey GroovyBee,
The game is finished, I just need you to test to make sure the game works on pal and the colors look ok, thats all the testing I need done! I can get you screen shots of the game and a description as well!
Thanks
Disjaukifa
You can easily make a PAL60 Version with bB, just compile a NTSC Version with PAL colors.
Yeah that is what I was going to try tonight, but since I don't have any PAL equipment I still don't really know how to test it.

This on the other hand is an original game programmed in the 1980s.It looks too much like a hack of Freeway/ET than an 'original' to me. It will be interesting to see the source code once it's ripped to see how original it actually is.
The cart size is definitely original, I like the look of the label too. I think it's a great story. Personally I would treat it like a one-of-a-kind prototype. Is it an EPROM or production chip? I didn't see this info or do we not know yet?
Too lazy to go back and look, but I think I remember reading in this thread that the programmer still had the original source code for the game. It could very well be an original game that just mixed and match game play aspects from various games which I would constitue as a real original game. its difficult to say if this early homebrew or a real game, but seeing as the label has a company name with an address and everything, I would say this is a real game, not a prototype, and not a homebrew . . . but thats just me.

Hey Guys,
The Limited Text Label Version of Candy Catcher is now full. There are plenty of spots left on the CIB version with some stunning artwork from Brian O. Also please note the CIB is NOT a limited release, so you don't need to worry about that version running out!
Thanks guys!

Hey Guys!
Let me tell you, this project likes throwing walls at me just for fun! I got my Batronix USB Chip Programmer in today, got home connected to my Mac and discovered this model is Windows only. No problem, I run a VM of XP with VirtualBox all the time, fire it up only to find out there is a bug right now with VirtualBox and Mac OS X 10.7.2 where USB does not work now with VMs . . . I upgraded to 10.7 on Sunday

So I got my wife's laptop out which was Windows 7, install the software, no problems, connect the programmer up . . . nothing, can't find it. Oh yeah it has a driver you have to download, download it, got to install it, the driver isn't signed or something like that so I said forget it. I don't even remember when I last used this computer, but I have a Dell Dimension 4500S in my garage, pull it out, somehow I still have the install disk, install Windows XP Home, and get that machine up and running.
Long story short the rom burns without issue, however now I'm sitting here thinking to myself, "how do I know if I did that correctly?". I figure its best if I just still the EPROM in the PCB and see if it works. I solder all the connections, stick the soldered PCB in my 2600 and BAM it freaking works!!!
Without further delay here is the first copy ever of Candy Catcher:
I'm didn't get any other copies made tonight because of the computer shuffling issue, but I did get one cartridge made (mine) and tested and the game works great! I will start sending out cartridges on Friday!
Thanks guys and have a good night!

Will AtariAge sell the game in future or is this one of those "either now or never" opportunities?
I'm not sure, I would have to ask Albert. I plan on be selling the CIB as long as anyone wanted to buy a copy, just waiting for 10 people to get on a list before I ordered more parts since its cheaper when I buy the parts in bulk. The Text Label version is limited to 45 copies.

What have you actually PLAYED tracker for 2011 (Season 4)
