Reluctantly For Sale>>Chase The Chuckwagon CIB
disjaukifa replied to ninermaniac's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Glad you were able to sell it !!! -Disjaukifa -
Hey, Fun game, good graphics, good sound. I was about to tell you that nothing happens if you don't go between the towers but then I noticed that you don't get points if you don't go through the towers. If I might make one suggestion? The colors are good except for the ship, its really hard to see on the green background, if you could change it or the playfield area so it was easier to see, it would really help!!! I like it, keep working on it!!!! -Disjaukifa

Looks like you are doing well, wish I had the money, if I did I would make an offer. Sorry again that you had to sell such a find. -Disjaukifa -
It'll be back soon. Need to spend some time working on the store, which I start on in about a week. ..Al Sweet! I'm getting all giddy just wanting to see what else is going to be new aside from the announcement already made. I can't wait to see the store . . . I've never seen it before -Disjaukifa

ZIF sockets are always a favorite past time. Never dealt with myself, but it did look like an interesting auction. -Disjaukifa

I didn't notice how much time was left. To me>> It ended for 171, not nearly as high as I thought it would go for. -Disjaukifa

You can ask me for PCB's any time, Parker, Coleco, Atari, 5200 & 7800. I have designed my own boards & PLD code. I don't think the Melody/Harmony are trying to make the EPROM Burners and cartridges obsolete, I think it trying to make it cheap and faster to publish homebrew games. -Disjaukia

Are you going to buy a Harmony cart for the Atari 2600?
disjaukifa replied to Random Terrain's topic in Harmony Cartridge
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought I remember reading that the Harmony doesn't work with the FB2. -Disjaukifa The menu does not work, but most games work if loaded as single images. Oh ok well then I guess you could use it with FB2, but you would have to load just one game at a time . . . still not terrible. -Disjaukifa -
Hey Guys, Here is a new binary with the new implementation of the shrinking level/field which was suggested by MausGames and I want to send him another thanks for the suggestion. I still have not programmed an ending yet but that is what I am about to do next!!! Thanks for the feedback and offer!!! I'm not going to worry about sound till I get the rest of the code really finished. Also I was thinking about doing the sound for this game myself, not because I don't want help or anything, I really do appreciate the offer, its just this is the game where I am learning how to everything with Batari Basic, and I want to learn how to do sound. Its one of those weird situation where I can't learn it unless I do it, just reading about it doesn't do it for me. I have attached the binary, let me know what you think!!! OH if you put the Left Difficultly on A instead of B good luck. The jitter happens more often, other atomic matter is shot at you more and it takes longer to complete the game! Thanks Disjaukifa atomic_meltdown.bas.bin

I tried all that and my No Escape is still dead guess I just need to see if I can find another copy. The weird thing is that the connectors looked really good good, no oxidation, it looks great. It seems like the PROM just failed. -Disjaukifa

disjaukifa replied to cvga's topic in Atari 2600
Atari 2600 No Escape - 15 minutes Missile Command - 30 minutes Frogger - 10 minutes -DIsjaukifa -
Yeah I know that and so do the other people in this thread, but that doesn't mean the buyer on ePay does . . . Lol. I am still on my caffeine kick from earlier. I am about to crash and I can feel it. Yeah same here, its almost 2am and I am exhausted, I'm about to pass out here on my couch . . . . but it is so comfortable . . . . hmmmm -Disjaukifa

Ya'll have no idea how helpful that would be. I depend on this Sprite Editor as is and it works great!!! -Disjaukifa

By 1982, when I got my Atari 2600, a good number of games were already 8k. By 1989, it seemed like many Atari 2600 games were up to 16k. If you want to keep it like cartridges from the 1980s, you can go up to 16k without wincing. And if you want to make a game that is similar to a Starpath Supercharger game from 1982, you could probably use 32k without shedding a tear. And we're also kind of limited since we're using batari Basic. Pro Assembly programmers can do more tricks, squeeze the code down, and make the Atari 2600 stand on one foot and whistle a tune. To make up for the limitations of bB, and bloated code if you're like me, we can use more memory without feeling guilty. Also I feel like we should use the tech to our advantage and push the 2600 to its hardware limit!!! I know I should really learn Assembly to do games but I have so many good ideas that just use Batari Basic, that it will take me a while. -Disjaukifa

Am I missing something? Not really, its just a good mixture of games and off the top of my head I saw a few R5 according to the Rarity guide here. Its a unique auctions, so I can see it going for a good amount of money. -Disjaukifa

Hey, I got the stuff quickly and it all worked great, wonderful guy to deal with, thank you so much for the games!!! -Disjaukifa

How much do you think that auction will end for??? Knowing ePay and the buyer on ePay, I'm going to say 200+. But I have to admit the guy has presented it very well! I got wonder if this auction is legit . . . -Disjaukifa It is legit but I just hate it when the seller can't TEST the items. Looking through some of the ROMs I would say this auction might reach $400. With the way people have been bidding on Ebay lately, anything goes. Yeah I am in total agreement about the testing of items. You can buy the adapter at radio shack for a couple of bucks and it will make your item sell better, its seems stupid not to do so. I just went back and looked at the roms that are included and there are a few rare ones so I my $200 dollar prediction is completely off. Yeah ePay is a hit or miss for how much you are going to make on something you sell. -Disjaukifa PS ninermaniac we seem to be the onlines still up and posting at the moment, have you noticed that?

I don't think you would want to wish that upon yourself. Insanity over reality taints the unruled mind. Ehh I have a tendance to buy something without thinking about if I really need it or not. I waste money, I know I do and I have tried really hard to cut back and it has really helped. Plus there are improvements to my house that I have got to get done . . . so in that respect if she found out I bought a game with the money that was suppose to be for the roof (yeah I need a roof as well) it would more than likely be up here as well. -Disjaukifa -
You should sign up for the pre-order of the Harmony then you can participate in all the challenges . I am still trying to get to the Medusa's but I think that its going to have to wait till tomorrow before I try again . . . -Disjaukifa

My wife is not like that at all. She hardly buys anything . . . I consider myself lucky. I just wish I had her money spending habits as we would be much better off. -Disjaukifa -
Small??? I'm pretty sure that is the top score . . . I might be wrong though. Congratulations though!!!! -Disjaukifa

Yeah if I turn off the sound I can play it for a while, I still haven't beaten it, but I would advise you to revisit the sounds. -Disjaukifa
