  1. my 7800 has a worn plastic shaft on the reset button so I removed the button itself and use a tooth pick to hit the button. still need to get a new button as the way its set up is a pain. The shaft will wear at an angle if you don't press it in the center every time.

  2. You have a 2600 collection with a working console, but you can't test it?

Hehe no. I have a collection of consoles I am rebuilding from ones I've owned in my childhood (Hence Sears VA 2 insrtead of a Flashback2 or Heavy Sixer). And that doesn't have a power supply... Yet.

As someone requested of me in private. Here is the switcher.

(Yeah, the desktop power station is rusted a bit.. But it's saved my equipment from lightning so much and is the most reliable bit of kit on this old system. It's like a lucky charm.)

I just scored one of those on ebay but it hasn't got here yet. Yours looks nicer though

  3. Just placed first store order for Medieval Mayhem. Cant wait.

You won't be disappointed with Medieval Mayhem, especially if you already enjoy Warlords. Just make sure you have some jitter-free paddles ready!

    ..Al

Saw a post on this site with a video of four guys playing it and knew I had to have it. kept looking for it till the store came back on line then it was like xmas in november. I'll be getting more from there for sure. I love exclusive offers and it looks like most if not all stock is.

  4. I have aquiered a bunch of Atari 2600 pal games throughout the years and am now wondering if I can just get a pal version 2600 or do i need a pal tv to? Any light on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

  6. Alright, in my last 2600 haul, I got 2 units that needed some work: one I had to re-attach the video cable, and will need to get 2 new switches for it. The other, I had to adjust the color on. Now, I have things pretty fine, but I was wondering what is out there to act as a standard for testing. In my case, I used Centipede, Frogger, and Stargate to check the minute color tones I was looking for and expect from a heavy-six unit. My wondering is, is there a cheap homebrew cart that I can acquire to help do such adjustments quickly.

This is more of a curiosity than it is an urgent cry for help, and any info on a cheap cart or some perfect test game would be very appreciated. I know the video test cart is quite rare, but maybe a hozer knockoff or something similar exists?

    Thanks!

If you have a supercharger, cuttle cart, or cuttle cart 2 you can download the color bar generator rom from the rarity guide in this site. oh the harmony cart also works.

  7. After a few years of getting nothing, I finally had a very nice haul from craigslist. Someone posted an Atari with 60 boxed games. As you can imagine, you think all you are going to get is a bunch of commons. When I showed up to the guys house, I was shocked at what I found. Sparing the details, I ended up spending way more than I thought I was originally going to. Still though, I ended up with a great group of games.

I will be posting pics soon

How do I find atari items on craigs list? found site just minutes ago and cant seem to get anything to come up.

  8. Awesome this is my first look at the store and I like it. To bad I spent so much on Ebay yesterday and today. Well there's always next week. Guess I should celebrate with a few brews and a 420 break. Keep up the good work. Oh are any of the home brews a limited release? Haven't kept up on the home brews.

  9. Are you kidding me, WTF is up with the prices? Rick was selling these NIB (lots of them) for $35 each. :?

If there's a few of these floating around sealed for that price or even a bit higher I'd bite Quick as I'd have no intension to ever open them. Well maybe if I got two the same but the one I opened would be more of a curiosity than to play it.

  10. Three of these auctions came back with a second chance offer to buy at less than the winning bid. Wonder why? Almost had them at 77.00 till the winning bidder jumped in and went bid nuts. Probably didn't have the $ to cover all of them. I'd post a link but it would be to my in box on ebay and would give everyone access to all my messages. If anyone knows a way around this issue let me know as i'd be happy to post if there's an interest. I think it's un fair to jack the price of an auction sky high if your not going to take the item as it changes every part of the auctions outcome from then on. What is every ones opinion on this? Maybe they would have gone high anyways but who knows. The user that didn't take them still has 100% positive feedback. I'll let everyone know if that changes in a day or to.

Did it ever occur to you that the seller may have a stackload of these?

Maybe your right. my message said that I could find out why the second chance offer by clicking on bid history but I don't know how to find the bid history on item page.

You click on the number of bids.
