I sort of know how you feel. Sometimes my right eye hurts so bad when I get a migraine or something that I have to vomit. My sympathies.

I'll be fine after it heals up, but it will take about three days to a week. Mine's not bad enough to require an eyepatch but the doc says it'll probably hurt the entire time.

That had to be hard to do. I've heard of scratched cornea, but the retina is deep inside the back of the eye!
