Well, the most insulting thing was that I had NO idea what she was even talking about. I listed jobs when I was in high school and college -- of course I didn't keep those. After I got out of college I spent three years with a company, and the only reason I left was a layoff.

Here's how I would respond: "Loyalty is a two-way street. If it's okay for employers to engage in mass layoffs whenever they please instead of trying to build long-term relationships with their employees, then it's okay for me to leave whenever I please if it doesn't suit my interests to stay anymore." I somehow doubt that would get me hired, though.

You let those damn peopel know you can fling poo better than anyone! Take charge dammit!
