Went to the "in-person" interview for the company I flubbed the phone interview for. They were even MORE rude and abrasive. I stopped the interview 80% of the way through and said "You know what? No. I will NOT work for this company if you treat me this way."

  Good for you! What a lot of people do not realize is an in person interview is as much about whether the company fits YOU as much as if YOU fit the company.

  I told them off for a bit. They literally said "We agree with the recruiter, we don't think you can hold this job long enough and you'll just leave...." That's when I snapped and I said "Well, considering you're already starting the relationship here on a negative note by making me feel degraded....."

  Good for you! As much as anything else, job interviews should be about prospective employers selling _you_ on the idea of working for _them_. It sounds like they weren't interested in doing that.
