Glad to hear you're OK man. I've been through the same thing--other car totaled, mine not as much. Still an unexpected, shocking experience though that catches you off guard, and one I don't generally wish on others, haha.

I had it happen at a stop sign 2 blocks from my house, with only one other car on the road, and this girl slams into my back end pushing me into the intersection, broke off my lower body kit, but didn't hurt my bumper.  Pretty sure she was on her phone ...and her passenger was on her phone... It was quite a surprise!  And my back felt better after that too!  Haha...

There must be something involved in physics that allows that to happen, as it's happened to me twice as well, once was the passenger in a big...Buick(guessing)(Land-Boat), the truck that smashed into us was destroyed, steaming radiator, we just drove away unscathed(after the police came, obviously). Second time, was in a line of cars waiting to pick up my kids from school, me driving, Wife with me-we were in her Sister's car, that we affectionately called "The Bean", I dunno what it was either, but one of those tiny "bubble" cars they made for a while. Girl came top speed and smashed into us, the back went a couple feet in the air, we bumped into the car in front of us-the car that caused it was smashed all to heack, but there was no other damage(I cracked my head on the windshield, but neither broke, I guess...).

Lucky Us, I suppose.

Definitely agree, get checked out. Not a fan of Doctors, and avoid them as much as possible(I'm a nurse, giggle), but you definitely want to get at least your back checked out.
