Got rear ended at a stop light today. Other driver nailed me at high speed and threw me in the intersection. Shockingly, my car suffered....a cracked bumper and nothing else! His is totaled though.
Glad you seem to have come out OK. Been there, done that, it sucks.
Get both the car and yourself checked out. There may be things damaged from the impact that won't show externally on either it or you. Take my word on this one.
My sister thought she was OK for a while, but her back is still kind of screwed up when a similar thing happened to her years ago. I'm pretty sure she wasn't hit as hard as you, so . . .
