      1541 CD player would be very doable I think. I am cooking up an Atari 400 toaster (no joke) as my next project. Got it for $3.49 at goodwill, doesn't work. Gonna use the hinge as the toasting mechanism -- toast gets done, hinge pops open, bread pops out.

      It was a completely random occurrence. It has been really smoky in Albuquerque due to a massive wildfire in Arizona near the state border, and I got into my car, turned the fan on full blast, and a large particle of dust or ash or something flew directly into my eye and lodged itself under my eyelid. My first instinct, of course, was to squint my eye shut, which caused the particle to scratch my cornea.

       

      I guess for advice on what not to do, I would say don't squint near any wildfires.

      When I was working as a construction laborer I had a piece of tiny debris hit me in the eye the day before I was going to the beach. It felt like I had something stuck in my eye for 3 or 4 days. I tried going into the salt water but it was very painful. lol
