  1. Actually the rarest cart I own is my original text label Space Invaders.

Why is it rare, you say? It's not even a rarity 3!....

Well, I would never sell it, trade it, or even give it away. Why? Because that was the first video game I ever played with my dad. I was 5-6 and I remember playing it for hours with him.

Rarity doesn't just come from monetary value.

  2. BWA HA HA! I have more PCJr games than you do! I'm winning on this website at SOMETHING! NYAH HA HA!

On a serious note, holy freakin' crap that's a lot of so much awesome stuff. Where did you get the pooka plushy? That thing is awesome!

EDIT: Found the namco collection of plushies. Thanks Tempest! Now I know what I'm asking my wife for this Christmas!

  3. My label's done. :P and no, it doesn't look crappy, I just had a bloody brilliant idea. It might get fine-tuned throughout the course of the 4 weeks but the general idea is there. I'll e-mail it to you jah and see what your commentary is :D

  4. Broke 300k playing today.

    313,000

    MY TIP#2:

Always make sure you are shooting the bunch of grapes looking 3 purple ships. These give you 2 shots rather than 1 shot and spreads out your ability to cover ground, but also they give you tons of extra bonus points per ship shot if you already have the 2-shot ability. I think it was something in the range of 2,500 points per series of 3. Many, many additional points to be had on each level with that.

  5. Count me in for an undisclosed cart as of yet. I'm still thinking about what I can do.

CRAP! Someone already took Haunted House! Let me check the collection again.

MINIATURE GOLF! I CALL MINI GOLF!

EDIT: For the record what kind of paper do we buy to print on? Are there Avery labels of some specific size I can buy or something?

  6. I'd have to say it would be a +1 to both in my boat considering homer's point. In my lifetime I've probably played both equally and enjoy both equally. Midnight Magic is so much more refined, but Video Pinball has that frantic fast-action addictiveness that keeps you playing.

  7. Theoretically if the VCS is too narrow for the width of the letter opener you could always measure the total difference in width and then cut that difference out from the center. Say if it's 1" just make a 1" slice out of the middle, then glue the two new halves together to make it fit. It wouldn't be really noticeable since it's exactly in the center and you wouldn't be looking for cracks in the letter holder anyway.
