  1. batari basic is a good place to start, but with little to no programming experience you're only going to end up getting a GIGANTIC headache.
  2. There could be a possibility that the button simply is not making a proper connection. I would first try popping open the top of the case to see if the plastic is seated properly, as sometimes the plastic doesn't hit the center of the 'bubble' on the board to make the connection.
  3. I probably wouldn't be too good at it but I'm all for it.
  4. Cleaned it out and it works perfectly! Thanks! Armor Battle looks like a lot of fun if I can get a second player tonight! Woohoo!
  5. I'm going to try cleaning it out first, that's what I was thinking. The fact that Demon Attack booted perfectly fine makes me think that maybe the cart connector on the system is dirty.
  6. Hi everyone! I just got my first Intellivision! Woohoo from me! I bought it untested from Goodwill and traded acousticguitar for some carts (so I can guarantee the carts work!). Awesome! The not so awesome part -- the intellivision loads Demon Attack perfectly with absolutely no problems. I was playing it for a bit and chose to put in Sea Battle. I have Demon Attack and all the (Battle) carts right now. None of these carts will load, to the best of my knowledge. I stick 'em in and the screen turns green, then purple, then turns black and then nothing -- is it loading or something? I couldn't figure it out and might just be too impatient. Sea Battle eventually got to a 'mattel' screen and I pushed the button on the controller, causing the screen to go black. Then it just sat there. Any suggestions? Patience is a virtue here?
  7. Oh and also if you post this message to 10 other people your true love will fall for you or whatever that other facebook-esque chain-post garbage is
  8. Nope, sadly. He and Steve Wiebe surpassed 1 million points quite a while ago. Not to mention: A) You're using an emulator, which would fall under a different category in the Twin Galaxies High Scores, and B) If you didn't videotape it, it wouldn't count anyway Still an amazing score. I could never get that high, I can barely pass screen 3. Good work!
  9. I always went with green-green-blue-red, it seems the easiest.
  10. Lucky! I never find anything worthwhile out there, just a bunch of combat carts for $10.
  11. Apologies for the double post, but I wanted to give everyone an update on some of the proprietary stuff I got with this system. I have a working Jr now thanks to a certain group mentioned above, and I tested out some of the software. Some of the disks no longer work, obviously due to age.... But one of the most frustrating collector-ism things I have is that the "PCJr Sales Training Diskette"....contains a copy....of POLICE QUEST now. Woohoo for Police Quest, I guess, but apparently someone formatted the disk and copied PQ1 on it.
  12. More than likely, because it will sell absolutely bupkis copies. Seriously, who would want to buy a copy of the bible on 360? Even if you were interested in that sort of thing you could just get one for free from The Gideons.
  13. I always think it's hilarious to watch fleapay auctions skyrocket by 1000s% because of press like this. People are so gullible and hilarious sometimes.
  14. Haha! Awesome! Too bad they don't talk about the honorable AtariAge.com members that ensured that it wouldn't get sidedealed.
  15. They made a Donkey Konga 2? AWESOME! That game was so much goofy fun.
  16. Ooh, HOT REPRO ACTION, are you going to charge a fee for us to watch?
  17. I was mostly just cracking a joke relating to CPU's custom status a few days ago about "reading posts from people with sand in their vaginas".
  18. vaginas + sand + this thread = CPU needs to bitch-slap some people.
  19. I love all the ones that are basically hidden money-laundering type deals where someone bids on a "mystery box" or something like that, or "candy bar plus free gift" -- obviously someone defeating the TOS. I might take a dump in a box and sell it as a "mystery box" one of these days.
  20. They aren't the marquees themselves, they're scans he made of the marquees.
  21. much rarer than video cude and miner vol2 I don't know, I have had almost every 2600 game, but never Video Cude. Is Atari Video Cube that rare? I picked it up in a lot this summer. HHwolfman was referring to Video Cude, not Video Cube If you are unsure of what Wideo Cude is, look at CPUWiz's post Damn another I have missed. CPU do you have a picture of Wideo Cude????? Ok Ok, no more posts here from me Unless you can man up and tell us and show us what your rarest game is which is actually what this topic is all about. It's like a gigantic hallway.
