  1. Snap this up someone! This is a PHENOMENAL price! Practically a fire sale! If I were in permanent digs I'd be buying it myself! Also I can't name a specific food that tastes terrible cold.
  2. Hey guys! This is really cool! Go to google image search and type in "Atari Breakout" without the quotes. Watch what happens. SO COOL!

i found that out a while ago lol. image search, not google search

  3. Very cool! So this would fit in a drive bay? I don't care if it rips a ROM, but I'm sure it has to, and it runs a batch file or something to automatically start up the emulator? I think this would be really cool to have in the front of a PC case. Looks awesome!
  4. It would be awesome if a drive expansion bay enclosure could be made.....then we could have Atari 2600 cart slots on our computers!
  5. OH MY GOD HOVER BOVVER! I love Hover Bovver. Awesome choice of game, I'm sure it will be an absolute blast! Do you have to hold the disc down to move, so the mower accelerates, or will it be just single pushes?
  6. Mine was "squid". It's definitely a random phrase.
  7. If you've got the money, an Atarimax Flashcart is absolutely awesome! So many image files out there to be able to try before you buy on some of the carts, and even disk based games. It's so worth the cost! http://www.atarimax.com/flashcart/documentation/
  8. is back....from my UNIVERSITY GRADUATION! HOORAY! Now on to law school!

  9. I think we should let Sprybug answer this question, given that it's actually HIS game, yes?
  10. My reaction was more toward the "debate" and less toward BrianC getting an answer. I think he's completely in the right to ask a simple question. As he states, a simple "yes or no" answer is really all it warrants. Having said that, the only person who can actually answer your question is Sprybug, since it's his code and ultimately his decision to release it. My instinct states that it will not be released for digital download, but that's his prerogative.
  11. How about let's just be excited that the game is being released, mmmmmkay?
  12. Just asked the wife if she was interested since we'll be living much closer, and she's game, so it sounds like we'll be attending again! Also Monkey Labs might be interested in sponsoring something; I'm currently in talks with web designers and artists to possibly make an actual business storefront out of it. Once I solidify plans I'll see what happens!
  13. I'm selling some stuff right now (Commodore 128D, PCJr, etc., collection stuff I can't take with me on the move) and this may be a bit divided, but one thing I really hate is buyers who bid an item up just to see what other people's bids are, then cancel their bid to see what they should set a snipe at or what the item will go for. I think this is shady and unacceptable, and I have had 2 eBayers do that in my auctions -- when I see the notice of cancellation, I find out who the bidder was, then I block them from bidding on the item. I may not get that extra couple bucks out of the item, which is a shame, but if you cancel a bid, to me that means you're untrustworthy and I shouldn't let you buy my items!
  14. What the deuce? I thought I posted in this thread already. I'm in.
  15. Did you have all three back in '89?
  16. Well, I'm no expert, so don't completely take my word for it. We have plenty of actual experts who can give you a definitive opinion!
  17. Looks like a regular ol' normal cart & PCB, just without a label.
  18. ACT NOW! Spots in the AtariAge Moderator Internship Program are coming open! PM Tempest for details!

  19. It functions as a beacon, lighting your game room up with the incandescence of nostalgic memories! Let's say $60 plus shipping for AA members?
  20. Seriously though, I agree. For me it's the vertical nature of the INTV controller, with the 1, 2, and 3 buttons above the disc, it just becomes too complicated to remember hand placement, so I can't ever figure out if I'm holding my finger over which button until it's almost too late as soon as the game gets a bit faster. I think because your hands are so close together, your brain gets confused about hand positioning, whereas with a horizontal setup, your hands are far enough apart that your brain can recognize their independent positions.
