  1. Easter AND April Fool's Day on the same day this year, haha! Today is gonna be great!

But it's not the same day.

  2. If someone got all the measurements for the Starplex, an arcade-style overlay sticker could probably very easily be created, die-cut and ready to be applied. I don't have time, sadly, but it wouldn't be too complicated to Photoshop/Illustrator up a template and create something, then print it on a nice glossy adhesive label-style stock. Would probably run a bit on the spendy side for printing and die-cutting, but nothing beyond the realm of, say, $10 in costs, theoretically. EDIT: Looking at the pic, yeah, that would be pretty easy to do. I might take a stab at it once I'm out of school. A custom Space Rocks CPO-style sticker for custom controllers would be pretty awesome.
  3. I wish! Probably never, I've been trying to get SMS complete for a while. I'm about 75% done with SMS, IIRC.
  4. Posted my review of the $20 jeans I got from 20jeans.com, some of you were interested: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/210610-20-jeans-20jeanscom/

  5. One of the owners in the chain must have decided to shrink-wrap the cart, it's certainly not original.
  6. Hey, and living in Seattle I will certainly be there this year!
  7. What project is this.....? I am in for one.
  8. Bioshock 2 was pretty meh. I just finished 1 and 2 this week in preparation for Infinite, even though there's no direct correlation in stories. Bioshock 1 still manages to floor me with its focus on environment and story. You can really tell how System Shock 1 & 2 were massive influences for the game (and should have been, given the creators). Unfortunately I can't afford Infinite at the moment, both in paper monies and time, so I'm holding off for a while until we complete our big move and get settled in.
  9. My wife had never played pinball her entire life until we visited Austin a year and a half ago. I was floored when she admitted that! I would think everyone has at least popped a quarter in a single arcade game and a single pin at least once in their life, no matter what. She really enjoyed the DMD stuff and had a blast with both Shrek and Rocky & Bullwinkle -- can't say I am a fan of either of those machines, but she loved them. She absolutely adores Williams Fire!, although she's horrible at it, LOL. She's demanded that once we get into a permanent living situation (AKA buying a house) that we purchase Fire!, which is awesome. The gameplay in Fire! is a little spartan, but the theme is one of the best out there IMO. She's still on the fence about the Flash Gordon machine though, damnit! Bally Medusa, however, is going into our house no matter what she says.
  10. $400 is fair price, IMO. Pastfinder alone usually fetches 3 figures.
  11. When are we gonna see that on cart? My money has kept magnetically moving out of my wallet toward you, but I keep having to push it down and say "NO! NOT YET!" Also, at ax, I don't remember if I said I was interested, but of course I'm in for one.
  12. Shot of Beam? Easy enough. To be honest I'm surprised at how well my wife took PRGE in September. I figured she'd complain most of the time and want out, but she had a great time at the show (admittedly she was only there for a few hours) and ended up wanting to continue browsing the booths after I headed back to work the AA booth w/ Al and Fred. When we got back, she said she wouldn't mind doing another show with me, which was pretty good considering she absolutely cannot stand most of my collection. Although we were about 50/50 spending time at the show vs. doing other things in Portland, so that might have had something to do with it. She wouldn't want to get hammered w/ a bunch of nerds for sure, LMAO! She finally decided she likes pinball, so that helps a lot. We'll see what happens next year. I definitely want to go, so I'll likely be there at least, hopefully. Either way, the show looked like an absolute blast and is certainly one of the best retro game shows out there for sure! Definitely something no retro game fan or collector can miss in a lifetime. Everyone's gotta go at least once in my book!
  13. Damnit, maybe next year I'll be able to go and match Crazy Climber shot-for-shot and beer-for-beer. CGE 2k10 will vouch for my drinking abilities. LMFAO Seriously though, next year it should happen. My wife and I are both graduating this May, and by next MGC will both have decent regular paying jobs, so we'll be able to afford it! I really wanted to go this year, but missed out due to lack of funds.
  14. You "trusted" this site prior to? Just a quick glance at who one of the moderators is would be enough for me to run!
  15. Patience is key, Wonder is bar-none the most reputable collector here, and he's released more than anyone else out there.....the details will arrive when it's time.....and we'll probably all crap collective bricks!
  16. I think it's safe to say he's already accomplished that mission.
  17. Just ordered $20 jeans from 20jeans.com. Anyone order from them before? Price is good but worried about fit.

Yep, that's what led me to gravitate toward 20jeans. If they're equal quality to what the $50-$100 pairs are, but only $20 since the middle man is cut out, I'll definitely be buying more!
