  1. So....it will have a crappy TF2 attempt? Count me in for sure now.
  2. What 'chu talkin 'bout, Willis? Bump for a good set for a collection!
  3. Can you confirm that if you solder something on it, then put the iron behind your ear, your hair will get singed? I heard that's a feature.
  4. Where the hell do you keep finding those avatar pics? Either that or I see you dropped the sweater and gained a shit-ton of weight!
  5. Got milton Bradley's original Conquest of the Empire, 100% complete (of course) for $3.99 at the Savers across the street from my apartment today. Now I need Shogun and Fortress America!
  6. No worries. Your mods look quite good and I'm sure you will have plenty of interested parties here. I bet if you make a marketplace thread here and sell on AA, you will get buyers and won't have to pay eBay fees.
  7. I don't mean this in an offensive way, so please don't take it this way: You want to be respectful of others? Don't try to deceive us by using alternate accounts to advertise your own sales, whether it's you or your girlfriend doing it for you. Lying to us is not more respectful to us than "shameless self-promotion". In fact, it's pretty blatantly disrespectful to both your potential buyers and to this community at large.
  8. I'll just leave this here: http://www.atariage....ashback-ii-mod/ I have the courage to ask a question: So what you're saying is that your girlfriend just innocently signed up to AtariAge, and the first thing she "just happened" to post was an innocent question regarding Flashback II mods, which just "happen" to be something you sell on eBay? Always have the courage to ask questions, remember!
  9. Please don't create shill accounts to cheer for yourself. ..Al Cheerleader puppet?
  10. So the ebay sellers who call everything rare are really just philosophers with far more advanced thought than the average ebay buyer! It's all becoming clear now. Yep! They have discovered the cosmic one-ness of all the junk in their garage!
  11. In theory everything is "rare", it's just a matter of scale......in the cosmic sense, it's all "rare"!
  12. Hi! Welcome to AtariAge. Since you are new and do not have established reputation on the site, can you please provide us with some references from completed transactions? An eBay, Amazon account (linked to either of these with feedback history), or perhaps any other forums that you are a regular member of that can 'vouch' for your sales goes a long way to helping members feel comfortable with buying items. Thanks, and again, welcome!
  13. Finally re-wired and re-patched the Atari 400 lamp I made....on/off LED now full brightness! A thing of beauty!

      Nice work!

It's a little rough around the edges as it's one of the more ambitious original projects I did. It was ridiculously easy to fix now that I know way more than I should about assembling and creating Atari lamps. LMAO

I made this one right after the 'first' run of lamps about a year or so ago. I was still pretty amateur at it. Once I get back out of school, be prepared for your mind to be BLOWN. I have about 5 ideas that are ASTONISHING if they work!

  14. Thinking about selling a ton of stuff that I no longer use.....

Bah, you guys know how it goes with me. I look at it, want to sell it, post a sale thread, sell about 2 items, and then cancel the whole thing because I get seller's remorse. :D

And then you track down the people who have bought your stuff in the past and ransack their houses?

Correct! Somehow I never manage to get my items back, but I get new collections of items formerly known as "theirs"!

  15. The knob attachments are probably worth $100. My knob attachment is worth quite a bit more than that. I thought I saw you trying to pawn off your knob in the marketplace thread last week for $5.00??? That's just a "rental fee" for "usage".
  16. The knob attachments are probably worth $100. My knob attachment is worth quite a bit more than that.
  17. It has the badge / foil sticker on the Gortek, and the cursory search I did on some C64 stuff implies that that's pretty rare......but $2k for a sticker.....beats me!
  18. I'm honestly just guessing. Perhaps those Fisher Price titles are super rare carts or something? I don't know much about C64. I was just stretching based upon the fact that Gortek was primarily a VIC-20 software.
