In serious news, I've officially graduated with my Juris Doctor (JD) & Master of Laws (LLM) summa cum laude / Order of the Coif, #4 in my class, and received a graduation award! Now on to getting licensed in both AZ and in federal court.

In the new house. My gaming room has access to the front balcony. Why, do you ask? For evening whiskey and cigars after a group gaming session.

Insurance called. They decided to total my car. Oh well, a real shame I had to go ahead and buy the Nissan 370Z I was looking at. Sad!

Is it just me or have prices for just about everything "retro" skyrocketed into ludicrous territory?

Yeah Adventure Vision by Entex! Always wanted one but never saved the dough for it. In 1982 (Sears Catalog) they were $80 (came with Defender) and each game was $15. So $125 for all of it! I kept meaning to order one but something else would come along, bought a mini pinball, bought Atari and Coleco games, and a Vectrex...Then after I got a computer + Internet, and found eBay...Well, they've been in the thousands ever since! (Haven't looked lately, Would 2 grand still get ya a complete set?...Probably not)

It's a miracle all the consoles I don't like were a success, compared to all the consoles I do like.

Gonna recommend the NP242, because a locking centre diff is *damned* useful and will handle a 350 no problem. Can verify that it's absolutely usable with a manual transmission, despite what teh intarwebz will say. Will require modifying driveshaft lengths, though.
That said, have you given thought to a 4.0 stroker? Keep the bottom end of the 258, mate it to a 4.0 head, do a few other tweaks, and walk out with a 4.5-litre straight-6 with no need to get crazy with mounts, etc. Not that those are a huge problem for a 350 swap - but I really love the I6
