Good point, stripped down really referred to the "Lynx only" package, more than the Lynx II itself. But I did not like how SMALL it was, and I liked the tucked away game slot on the first lynx... And I did not like the buttons on the 2nd lynx... (I just liked the 1st one more and I was pissed that I HAD to take the 2nd gen) Good point on the stereo jack and being able to turn off the backlight though...

No but I seem to rmember that, I think thats one of the reasons I hated my gen2 lynx... Use some epoxy resin to re-inforce the backing or is there enough room for an extremely thin gauge of aluminum?

It came with the original system (I don't remeber if it was included in the strip down cheap-ass Gen2 lynx (I never liked that one it was "substituted" over my 1st gen on a warranty return) I would have thought it would have been a 1... ?

I agree with pit fighter being crap, I actually threw that game away (this was years ago when I actually still had my lynx...) But I think another absolute PEICE! was "Hard Driveing" I traded ninja gaiden (spelling?) for that and regreted it (to this day) "Worst game ever" The controls were crap (play control) the sound was ANOYING and it even ran like "crap" I would have thrown that one away too if I hadn't lost it....
