  1. I have to agree. The technology exists today to make exact miniature replicas of the actual arcade machines, not just fixed LCD approximations. Heck, it's already been done as a homebrew project:

I'll all for making Coleco tabletop simulators (or even Game & Watch simulators) on ColecoVision because I think it's a quirky and fun idea, but re-releasing these old Coleco tabletops as actual retail products is another thing altogether. I honestly don't see the point, especially since the old tabletops are a dime a dozen on eBay today, and many of them are actually still perfectly functional.

And if you have Smurfs this can be a full sized arcade!

  2. Hey all,

I've been a web series creator for the last 6 years and have always had fun ideas for potential classic style video games. I'm wondering if any programmers out there would be game for working on a game for my current project. (It's a kung-fu comedy series called NINJAS which you can find at http://www.youtube.com/superfunky2012.)

I have a lot of ideas for various styles of game but I'm wondering how plausIble an old school tournament fighter game would be. If anyone wants to help out with this drop me a line here or PM me. Could be a fun project. :)
