My shortlist: Pitfall II and Super Pitfall: Sometimes classics shouldn't be followed up by sequels... Zelda 2 The Adventure of Link: When a villager saying "I am Error" is the only noteworthy part of the game, it's ass. Any Final Fantasy after VI (3) : Anything after that last SNES gen classic ceased to be a game, just crappy movies.

I'll take this to another level and say anything that gets a high rating from GameSpy will ALWAYS suck. (They have their noses so far up Sony's ass they can smell their breath.) Which means ANY PS3 or John Carmack creation currently.

I owned an Adam Computer for a good chunk of the 80's and early 90's and the ColecoVision part of the computer had white/cream controllers with grey buttons.

No this is the officially licensed Atari Flashback 2+ console. (Read the box again and it is indeed the AF2+.) Good system if you love the classics. I just wish Space Invaders was on this.

Just spent 2 hours playing Secret Quest. In a word, AWESOME! What Venture could have been had they made sequels!!

One thing I'd love to see in an AF3 is for them to FINALLY polish and release Cloak & Dagger!!! (If the legends are remotely true that a prototype was made but never produced.)

Cool. One thing that is pretty neat about the AF2 is the archive games that never got released on the 2600 and were polished for this console. (Alternative versions of Adventure and Asteroids come to mind here.) One thing I hope they can do is kiss and make up with the Activision crew long enough to get the Activision classics onto a console like this for the AF3!

Here's a few IMO that didn't age well: Double Dribble: The dunks are still amazing when you consider this was 8-bit but man do the controls suck now. ANY Madden game before Madden 94: NES's NFL Football called to say these early EA efforts sucked. NHL Stanley Cup: Never before was a game so heavily hyped and so amazing graphically yet impossible to control. Playing it now makes me feel sorry for the people who actually bought it. Zelda II The Adventure of Link: RPG style gaming was new as were worlds that big but it is just plain tedious and feels like work trying to play it now. Metroid: A mess to look at and play then and unplayable now. Golgo 13: Top Secret Episode: Badass when I was a kid, (especially getting an energy boost from getting laid,) but man does it look generic and crappy now. Super Mario 3D: Did a Mario game really need THAT many buttons? Quake II: Were we really THAT blown away by COLORED LIGHT? Aside from flashier graphics this one had no soul and playing it now is just tedious. Final Fantasy VII: Never was a game then, not even a good movie now.

Hey all, I just bought the Atari Flashback II and it has been a lot of fun reliving the classics. In spite of all of the games available to play I find myself going back to Asteroids and Centipede over and over!!! Has anyone got the AF1 or AF2?
