  1. I ran across another working Commodore SX-64 at a garage sale today and couldn't pass it up. I already have two of them CIB but this was a great deal... I thought I'd pick it up and see if anyone here wanted to add it to their vintage tech collection. The blue dots on the hadle are present and the keyboard and handle locks work. Comes with the Computer, keyboard, keyboard cable and power cable. I powered it up, and it went right to the ready screen. I typed in a simple basic program and ran it. Then I tried it with a Qbert game cartridge and it ran perfectly. The screen is clear and the colors are bright. PM me with offers. Keep in mind that shipping anywhere in the USA will be around $40-ish (This thing is gigantic and heavy for a "portable" computer.
  2. Sweet! Mattel Auto Race was the first handheld electronic game. It is cool to see one complete with instructions.
  3. I found a keyboard that will work with the 2nd machine. So both come with keyboards now.
  4. I took some pictures. One of them comes with the original manuals and a keyboard! The other one is just the unit and power cord. You gotta love the Commodore logos on a PC
  5. I have two spare Commodore PC-10 computers. Sometimes referred to as the Colt, these were IBM compatible 8088 computers in a standard PC desktop case. Both power up and the floppy drives seek and and a message to insert a boot floppy disk appears on the screen. I do not have any DOS boot floppies on 5-1/4" to test any further. Includes the desktop computer and power cord only. Asking $60 OBO for each... these things are monsters so shipping would be around $30. I will try to put up pictures tonight.
  6. I happened upon an Entex Adventure Vision Super Cobra box at a secondhand shop on my way home from work the other day. My heart almost stopped when I saw it... i was excited until I picked it up just to find it was empty. I only have the Defender cartridge for my loose, glitchy AdventureVision (The mirror takes a bit to spin up to speed)... and have been looking to find the other games forever. It is in good to fair shape so I picked it up anyway since I am sure there are people out there with a loose Super Cobra who want a box. Asking $125 OBO delivered. SOLD!
  7. I am looking for a Sega Dreamcast Broadband Adapter model numbers HIT-0400 or HIT-0401 with instructions. Let me know if you have one you'd like to part with.
  8. What is the reserve price? I just want to know if I am just wasting my time bidding if I don't really have a chance. I hate it when people post auctions with reserves... it is usually a waste of everyone's time.
  9. I want to have your babies! Ummm... I mean... Nice! It looks just like the one in the Vectrex Museum http://vectrexmuseum.com/collection/vectrexminicade.php
  10. If a box has been opened, there is no way to ever conclusively say or prove that it is NIB. So to me, just the fact that he shows the box open disproves it. At a point like that it becomes someone "giving you their word" that it is NOS. Call me a pessimist I guess.
  11. Yup! Between AD&D and Biorhythms it is almost $100 worth of trading stock... Astrosmash was a nice little bonus. I was quite happy with the haul. Tho I'm still confused why he didn't want to keep the computer and sell it again. He was under the mistaken impression that his Biorhythms was not complete... but it is. There are no overlays for it. Here is the auction eBay Auction -- Item Number: 250671833482
  12. I just made a sweet Mattel Aquarius haul in eBay. I got a CIB Aquarius, CIB Mini-Expander, and three CIB games (Advanced Dungeones and Dragons, Astrosmash and Biorhythms)... all for $12.90 The seller had it listed as an Aquarius System and games... by omitting "Mattel" or "Computer" from the listing, it went virtually unnoticed... The funny thing though, was the odd behavior of the seller himself. I was bidding just to get the three games for future trading stock... especially since two of them would be like R6 or R7 (Astrosmash is like an R3). I asked him if he could just ship the three games only to reduce the shipping cost... he could keep the computer and the mini-expander and resell them on eBay since I didn't want them. He acted as if I were trying to pull something over on him... like it was some sort of con. He basically replied that it was a nice try but it was sold as a package deal period. I swear I could hear crickets chirping in my head. So now basically... once it arrives, I'll have another CIB Mattel Aquarius computer and mini-expander to sell in the marketplace here I guess. Anyone interested?
  13. Here are some pictures... the cartridge #4 box has a torn top flap as seen it the pics.
  14. I have an extra... loose Telstar Arcade with cartridge #1 - SOLD an extra BOXED cartridge #3 - SOLD an extra BOXED cartridge #4 - SOLD ...for sale. PM me if you are interested. **SOLD**
  15. Units from the first run, with an extremely low serial number are very sought after for most vintage computer systems, such as the Commodore 64. I do not know if that translates over to game consoles as well. Though, to an extent you do see this with Atari 2600 units, as the Sunnyvale Heavy Sixers are more sought after than other production runs of the 2600.
