Yeah, I own a buggy but operational Adventurevision with only the pack in Defender cartridge... I would have opened these and played with them.

Wanted: Complete PC/C64/Apple 2 game "Oil Barons"
the-topdog replied to Cebus Capucinis's topic in Wanted
Well I have been eyeballing one on Ebay eBay Auction -- Item Number: 390199025361 and thinking on putting in a $100 offer (although it is PAL and not a cartridge)... but I'll hold off if you want to try to get it. -
I surrender... my high bid was $412... one day I will get the other games for my Adventurevision. *shakes fist to the heavens*
-
Bwa-ha-ha-ha! Took the bait! You won't know my final bid till it is over **strokes the invisible cat in my lap**

Lol, honestly it's been a while since I did a 7 day listing. I kinda forgot that they all start so slow. Imagine if it stays at $11.50? Oh well, you win some you lose some. LOL... if it stayed there I would be happy, but the final 1 minute will decide... I doubt you will get anything less than $200.

What about Burgertime? eBay Auction -- Item Number: 360273093948 not mine. [EDIT] ooops... nevermind... I just realized your list was not in alphabetical order.

But but but... I'm bidding too.... My bid shall crush you little monkey bid! **insert evil laugh here**

Hey! I feel cheated... I came in here expecting to see a Giant Cebus like the title indicates... but you are only a normal sized Cebus! Oh yeah, I also have a CIB Amiga 1000. If you are interested, drop me a PM.

Unfortunately Clowns is the E.T. or Combat of the C64 world.

What is a sealed intellevision II worth?
the-topdog replied to Atari2600Lives's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
I'd say the ceiling would be about $200... but there are always people who "need" a system that will go all mental and pay more. -
WTB Amiga 520 Adapter, Amiga 500 Video Cable, 1084S Monitor
the-topdog replied to Cebus Capucinis's topic in Wanted
A 1084S would be a better solution for the Amiga since it is stereo. -

The thermal printer is pretty common (about an R6)... not as common as the data recorder (about an R3), but still readily available. What is hard to find ar the spare rolls of Aquarius brand thermal paper (about an R8) for it, though any aluminized thermal paper will work. The Aquarius printer that is insanely rare is the 4 color printer/plotter (about an R10). Even though the Aquarius has nothing to do with the Intellivision, the Aquarius Printer and data recorder can both work with the Intellivision ECS as Tempest and Jay have said. Psauare, I may have a spare printer cable for you, I'll dig around in my bottomless closet to see... if not, they are easy to build.

The "I Will Hate Bill Gates Forever For This" Sale
the-topdog replied to Jess Ragan's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Yeah that is not the box that goes with that particular unit. I bet the previous owner found that box to make it look like a complete set. That isn't too big of a deal, but it would be like getting a sunnyvale heavy sixer in a sears box. -

This is the third variation. But it is still desirable. -
Are these protectors acid free and do they have any UV protection? Inquiring minds want to know...

Also, some of the cartridges require you to have an additional 4k or 16k ram cartridge, and the mini-expander has a second slot for the memory expansion. I would recommend a mini-expander to any Aquarius owner as the benefits are well worth it for this limited computer system. The other Aquarius accessory that I would recommend that is indispensable, is the data recorder. There were far more games and other programs released on tape than were ever released on cartridge for the Aquarius.

Why is Aquarius Burgertime so stinkin' rare?

Sorry I gave my spare one away to the owner of Reto-Zone.org in the UK a few months ago. -
Why is Aquarius Burgertime so stinkin' rare?
the-topdog replied to Rev's topic in Intellivision / Aquarius
Burgertime was not released in solo form, but only as a pack in cartridge in the "Family Pack" which included the Aquarius Computer, Mini Expander, 16k Memory Cart, and four random games (I have a few ). So even if you purchased this Family Pack, you only had about a 25% chance of getting Burgertime. I is very difficult to find, so I'd rank it about a R8. Chess, Zero In and Melody Chase are even more difficult to find and would be more akin to R9 or R10 As for Nightstalker. It is the most common of all commons for the Aquarius... as someone else said, think of it as the E.T or Combat of the Aquarius world. -
