I sort of understand why people can't give them away now. These suckers are heavy. Even with a second person it was work pulling it up my stairs, and lifting it from the ground onto a table was challenging. Modern TVs are just so much easier in comparison.

the hs420 has the Hi-Scan tube with 853 line horizontal resolution. the XS955 and xbr960 have the Super Fine Pitch tube with 1440 line horizontal resolution. It's still a good TV with way better blacks then a LCD

I had to adjust the settings to get the blacks to actually be black, but you are right, the blacks are definitely nice once it's tweaked (the previous owner had the picture adjusted to where blacks looked very, very grey).

It's not particularly valuable. I think I paid $8 shipped for it, and yes, it has the fork and spoon. I never even opened its bag. PM me if you're interested and I'll see if I can dig it out.

I'd wonder if Microsoft is the leading cause of Desktop sales slumps. I know it keeps me from buying a new PC. (Both now and back when Vista was the forced OS of the day.)

Windows 10 Pro, and the OS decided the middle of my live stream was a good time to apply a large system update. 30 minutes later and we were still waiting for it to finish so we could get the stream back up and running. I had the auto-update option disabled, yet it decided to do it anyway.

Things have turned for the better, it seems. The package was delivered to the wrong house. I have my packages sent to my parents' home, and there is another house about a block away on the same road that features a home address that is only one digit off my parents' home. The FedEX guy delivered the package there. All in all, the story ended well, and I'm personally just glad the missing parcel wasn't due to theft.

Good to hear. Fed Ex delivered a package about a mile from me once, to a lady whos name was nowhere near mine, an address that wasn't even close. My number was on the package and she called me and brought it over

Yeah, the unemployment bonus to stay at home thing, I think people are blowing that money and milking out the benefits, thinking that when it's over they will be able to just go back to work where they were before, or it will be easy to get hired when ever they feel ready. Employers aren't going to wait around on your lazy ass, and they won't appreciate being taken advantage of like that. You know they are blowing the extra money, because how else do you explain all the stupid spending on fireworks? I know guys that are unemployed that spent $2000 on personal fireworks!

Pretty sure I saw 2 WiiUs here in a pawn shop.  IIRC, one was $90 and one was $110.  The sign said one had a password and one did not.  Now knowing nothing about it, does a password just unlock the games DLed on the system or is it more important than that?  I've never had one before.

@GoldLeader - Yeah, the password is needed to access games bought with that Nintendo Account. I don't think it's the end of the world though--pretty sure you can create a "Guest" account and play physical games normally.

It is excellent, played 2 games on it, I have a nice FZ-10 myself but this works well. Too bad the CDi emulator author wants a ridiculous price for his emulator (in my opinion)

Yeah, after playing this one I intend on getting the Wii one. Have no idea why I haven't played that one much either (played a demo when it was new). It's pretty awesome, good 'ole fashioned pick-up-and-play action.

the top of my snes is BARELY yellowed, so where you can't see it, so its pretty much the same as when I got it.

Oh man, mine got so yellowed after about five years, the corners even cracked!
