Consider that some games may never have come shrinkwrapped. For example, Miner 2049er and the Sunrise games may be found new but without shrinkwrap. That can be the trouble with having so many 3rd party manus. It would be cool to see someone document andtry to prove what was originally sealed in plastic for each system. Of course first party stuff was just glued shut, which led to damage to most boxes as they were sort of hard to open.
I know some NES folks used to buy stuff sealed and crack it to document what original contents were present, like inserts and warranties. Would also love to see this with other systems like Colecovision.
The first psycho step is everything shrinkwrapped. The second step is everything VGA graded. The third step is 'VGA graded above X' like '80' or something. I think NES people have gone that route.
