I would not think so either. Three months is wishful thinking on my part anyway.

I am with you. Here's to hoping.
-
You and me both.

This is true. He is definitely cooler than Harry Potter.

SainT, this is technological wizardry! I saw the latest video, and it is superb. Way to go!

Hey, if it means not loading CDs into the Jaguar itself, that is OK with me as well. But, I understand that there is now at least partial CD emulation. That tells me it just needs to be fine-tuned, that's all. This is research and development, so I know it takes time. But, nevertheless, I feel pleased about how the project has come this far into fruition. I like the work. I can see how it will benefit Jaguar collectors. I intend to keep my Jaguar CD units (and I have two), but an SD cartridge, when it is fully developed with the CD emulation (I speak VERY optimistically, of course, because I believe by hook or by crook that will happen), and if I can afford it, then it would be like CDs on a cart. Because, obviously, that is what it will be. That, itself, is what makes me so excited about this project and how far it has advanced and will advance in the future. So, again, thanks for your awesome efforts, SainT.

It's really great that everything is moving along well for you, SainT. I know that are things that still need work. Keep up the great work. Thanks.

I bought mine for approximately USD$15.00, back in the day. It is a good guide to playing some of the Jaguar games. I still have it, too. But, I keep it in storage for safe keeping. But, as everyone is saying, if you can buy it then it is worth it.

"Take your time, hurry up, the choice is yours; just don't be late." Kurt Cobain actually got that one down pat with Nirvana in that song lyric. But, seriously, it is getting done, and will take some time. I will be patient. But, I would love to get one of those carts for my Jaguar. It will get done soon. I have faith in that. Thanks for letting me share.

Concerning RMT, it may have a detailed help, but i am wondering if there are specific tutorials on how to create music on Raster Music Tracker. Is there a site I can look at to find tutorials on this app? Or is there anything I can look at to learn how to use it? Thanks. UPDATE: Sorry, as Ibanez asked that already. I did not see this earlier on. But, really, are there any tutorial videos and sites for RMT? I guess it would also help if I learned music as well. Thanks again.

I can understand electronics being expensive over there. The Liberian dollar is only worth USD$.0065. That is sixty-five ten-thousandths of a US cent in value compared to the US dollar. No wonder it is expensive. Unfortunately. Thanks for letting me share.

In many ways, it does.

Hey, Pink! Same here! I live about forty miles from Saint Paul. It's true, too. The fluctuations in temperature can be extreme. Wait until the Alberta Clipper and Siberian Express come in the winter time. You know that those weather patterns bring bitter cold. I remember that April snowstorm, too. How could I forget? Fifty-eight hours long, full of snow! Non-stop! It gets crazy here in winter.

I see, then. Well, here is to hoping.

I suppose that it gets rainy a lot in the British Isles, doesn't it? I thought it did. Maybe I am wrong, but I think that it is that region of the world. Isn't it? I don't know. I have never traveled to England, so that is my guess.

Well, at least you are progressing steadily, SainT, and that is a good thing. Before, there were problems, as I understood it with the CD BIOS. I figured that the CD-ROM emulation would be improved over time. It just takes time, and I had faith in that. Thanks for your efforts, especially with the health problem that you are overcoming. I know that has been a setback, and I hope it gets better for you. Thanks for letting me share and I wish the best for this project. It seems to be coming to fruition slowly but nicely.

Huh. That is weird. Just Power Drive Rally, huh? That could be the case, about the PCB I mean. Interesting.

What are you talking about? Look, I was not downing the Jag. You got me wrong, and I refuse to argue about it. Cartridges get dirty just like anything else on any platform. It happens with NES, SNES, and, sometimes, Genesis. I even had to clean an A5200 cartridge of my own. It worked afterwards. So, yes, they do get dirty over time. Yes. They do need to cleaned from time-to-time. I have experienced that scenario with more than one game system. I am not saying that the Atari Jaguar was ever inferior. That never came out of my mouth. Or, from my keyboard. So, chill.
-
Um… yes. They do. I have always had that problem with them. They get dirty, and I clean them. That is my way of keeping them in tip-top order. No arguments intended, but I just do that. Thanks.
-
Right. Neither have I. All my carts from 1994 on work. Even my CDs are still working. I just need to clean them once in a while to prevent oxidation or corrosion on the carts, and scratching on the discs. But, that being said, the games (well, the cartridges anyway) are still very durable, and I know that the SD cartridge will be as well. OK. I am sold. Thanks.

I have a question about the SD cartridge for the Jaguar. We know that the cartridges for the system constantly need to be cleaned. Will this be a problem for the SD cartridge? I assume no, but I am also thinking about the cartridge port as well. I am thinking that leads on the cartridge will have better material so they will not need to be cleaned as much. I am by no means downing the product. By all means, I am psyched for it. Especially, for example, the CD BIOS that will be in it. It does look impressive, no doubt, and I would love to get a completed version of it someday. Even if it were released now, though, money's tight. But, it is on my wish list. Thanks and keep up the impressive work!
-
It does. Thanks. No worries. No rush.
-
Ok. That's cool. Just curious. Thanks.

OK, cool. So, is there a release timeline for Bello BASIC to AtariAge, or will it still take a while to release it? I am curious because I would love to learn this new version of BASIC, so I can produce my own programs. You may already have answered the question with the similarity comparison between this version and Raptor BASIC+. If I missed something, I apologize. I am excited, that is all, for seeing Bello BASIC in action with Jaguar and Atari 16/32 computers. It would open up a whole new world of homebrew games to the market, at least that is what I am excited about, anyway. From what I have seen already, it shows prowess. Thanks.

I have a question. Will Bello BASIC be released to others on AA, or is it just going to be proprietary for Bello Games?
