  1. Speaking of hacking TGM, I wonder how long that such an undertaking would take to complete. I personally would love to see it work for KoalaPad and Touch Tablet both. It would certainly be a whole lot easier to accomplish with if it had stylus support. Heck, Light Pen support would be nice. But, is it cost-effective to do that? Since the app is freeware now, it would have to be freeware. At least, in my own personal estimation. Thanks for letting me share.
  2. Yes, it would be fantastic if it could be hacked for multiple input devices. It could be even done legally, without any issues, because it is now in the Public Domain. No piracy issues there. So, it is quite possible. That is a brilliant idea, actually. Thanks.
  3. Yes, that is possible. I am assuming that it could be. Thanks for the advice. Appreciated, as always.
  4. Hello, fellow Atarians, I have a question. Can a KoalaPad or Atari Touch Tablet possibly interact with Mark Pelczarski's Graphics Magician Picture Painter for the Atari 8-bit computer line? I was curious about that because I am thinking about using one of the two for my copy of the application. Are either of the two drawing pad systems compatible with it? Any advice would be appreciated here. Thanks!
  5. Yes, Toast exists for Mac. I have Toast 15 Titanium. The most recent advanced version is 16 Pro. I use it on MacOS Sierra.
  6. True. I also have "Phaser Patrol" for my Supercharger. Of course, that came with the cartridge. Fun game. Reminds me of "Star Raiders."
  7. Yeah, they might be. I will think about that. Thanks.
  8. I just read on the WtW (Worship the Woodgrain) information, and I would not bother with that. Sorry. You would have to modify the Supercharger to play MP3s. Too much effort for that. Best bet: get a older tape player like that one save2600 found on eBay. Again, my apologies. Just trying to help. Thanks
  9. Hi, there, I couldn't find the "Stella Gets a New Brain" CD yet, but this might help, if you ever want to burn a CD and use a CD player: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/125293-worship-the-woodgrain-in-mp3-format-4-disks-2pg-track-list/ There you go. Thanks.
  10. What about an old radio with a cassette player built into it? I always thought that any audiocassette player would work as long as the headphone jack is there. I have a Supercharger, and sometimes use it. But, I also have a copy of "Stella Gets a New Brain," which is a Supercharger CD. With that, I use a CD player. I do not know where you can find the ISO for that, but if you can, it is worth your while to burn it to a CD-R. It has all the Supercharger games ever made on it, and works on a CD player the same way as the Supercharger connects to a tape player. But, for tape players, my recommendation is to go to a local thrift store, like a Goodwill, to find one. They get that stuff all the time, and cheap. Heck, a Sony Walkman tape player could probably do it. I will do my research and see what I can do to find an ISO image of it. It has got to be out there, and the CD would be more durable than the actual cassettes. Thanks for letting me share.
  11. Hello, folks, I have heard of an ISA adapter that can connect an ET4000 graphics card to a 1040STE. Does anyone know where I can find one? Or, can it be built from scratch? If it can, where would I find the information showing how to do it? I know of the VOFA adapter, but is there still a way to get or build one? Thanks.
  12. Probably Crystal Castles and Forgotten Worlds. But, I was pretty indiscriminate when it came to games in the arcades.
  13. Thanks for the info. I was trying to create an impression of a screen and how it might look on the Mac before it goes to the Atari. This should help. That makes sense about the 2x-4x ratio above the original pixel resolution, and then shrinking it down in the final output. Thanks again.
  14. Hello out there in AtariAge Land! I would like to know how I could set the correct resolution to translate from a Mac to Atari 8-bit graphics modes. I just wanted to know how a Mac can set a document to be read at 160x192 on an Atari 8-bit computer. I was curious about how many pixels per inch I may need to set this up. Would have any information on the information I would need to set this up? I either use Photoshop CS3 Extended or GIMP. I would get more information on the graphics mode I would need, but I am undecided on the graphics mode yet. Thanks. P.S. Forgive the "noob" sounding inquiry. I am curious, though. Thanks again.
  15. I see. I stand corrected, then. Thanks for the clarification.
  16. I would like to see two of my favorite games on the A7800, but I don't know if it will ever happen because they are owned by Atari. They are Marble Madness and Crystal Castles. Marble Madness for its impressive graphics, and Crystal Castles just because I love the game. Since they both play with the same type of controller, a Trak-Ball, I think that would be great to convert them to Trak-Ball games for the A7800.
  17. That was what I thought then. I had that feeling. That is actually a really awesome idea. I am convinced that this can travel. Thanks for sharing.
  18. Hey, SainT. You said that you use CDIs for the SD cartridge. Well, I have an inquiry. I know that SD storage has enough capacity for them, but can any size CDIs be used for the cartridge? I do not mean just the home-brew game CDIs. For example, I personally don't have a CDI for, say, Dragon's Lair, but suppose someone somehow did. Would large-format CDIs at, say, 500 MB or more in size, still work on your cartridge? Does it have its own RAM, or does it utilise the RAM on-board the Jaguar base unit and, if it does have its own RAM, can it be used in unison with the Jag's RAM? I was wondering. It sounds pretty technical what you are doing, but it is an extremely clever and intelligent idea. I assume it uses the Jag's RAM mainly. Unless I missed something. Thanks.
  19. Well, you can only do so much at one time of course, Carl. Maybe, collectively, something can be done between you and SainT. I am liking what I see so far, though. Kudos to both of you. This could mean more stable CD images for the Jag, because the CD-ROM can be flaky. I know because I have owned a Jaguar CD unit for over 22 years now. The Atari stuff (like Primal Rage and Myst, for example; anything made in-house by Atari themselves) is stable on CD. But, other things that are home-brew, well, then the player can be finicky at best. It depends on what you are developing on the CD disc. I know, from reading AtariAge posts in the past, of peoples' trials and terrors with Cinepak encoding. That is largely hit-or-miss sometimes. Thanks for letting me share.
  20. Yeah, I use DiscJuggler for burning CDIs for Jaguar, and it seems to be the most feasible way, besides Nero, to do it. In fact, I prefer DJ over Nero. Easy to work with. Sorry for going off-track here, but I hope that both projects nicely come to fruition. Thanks.
  21. Well, both projects sound pretty cool. I wish you, Carl and SainT, the best.
  22. This sounds like an awesome project. I like the idea of it, but I was curious. I understand that it is an emulation project. Can you keep the original CD-BIOS? My understanding, from these posts, is that the Skunkboard loads your custom BIOS and just circumvents the original. Am I correct on this? I do not want to hack into my CD-ROM or my Jaguar to do this. Also, is it just through the Skunkboard? Most Jag users do not have one, including myself. I cannot build one because, well, it costs to build one. I understand it will take some time to develop. Which is my next question: Is there a time frame for more development on this project? Thanks.
  23. The deed is done! Thanks for your help. I have the swatch files on there.
  24. Oh, OK. Thanks for the instructions. I never knew that. Well, I guess I know now.
