I am using the monitor's composite video and audio input on the front of the 1702. I am not using chroma/luma.

I think I have found the greatest stick ever. I have been playing with this one all day, and can find no flaws. Good control, adjustable turbos, solid. The ASCIIWARE Power Clutch SG. Played on 2600, 7800, and XL/XE.

Really? Hmm. Coulda swore I used this cable before. Weird. I thought the A/V was the same for both, with Chroma/Luma being an alternate.

OK, found my monitor cable. Now I get a high pitched squeal for audio. Connected to my 800XL, it works beautifully. I think it's just time for a new C64. Anybody got a spare? Don't need a ps or anything.

I can't find my monitor cable. This setup works with my Atari 400, so the ol C64 needs a little TLC. Thanks for the advice.

It shows a stream of numbers, with no sound. I'm using the RF connection through a tuner with video/audio out to a Commodore 1702 Monitor.

Yup, it's socketed. I'll have to see about finding one.

Any C64 gurus around? I pulled my trusty ol' Commodore out for a few games, and my sound is gone. Video is flawless. Any ideas?

Begged for my Atari for months, got it Christmas '83. Played Donkey Kong, then Sky Diver, then Barnstorming.

Try using the Close-Up mode, not auto. Works the best when the camera is less than 24" from the subject.
