the thing that got me into the atari was that i was getting bored with the ps3 and i thought that some old games would be better to try and i wanted to learn about video game history from the beggining lastly i am nearly out of money now so i probably wont be able to keep buying many games but i will keep looking at buying and going to the boot sales looking for stuff i also asked my mum where her old atari is and she is ringing around her family trying to track it down apparently it was a 4 swith wooden front i am hoping we can find it

i messaged the guy i bought the atari from and asked if he had any other carts and if so what price etc. but yeah i ended up buying 10 more titles from him on top of the 4 that came bundled with the system i paid 3 dollars a cart and i got 10 carts the titles i got were E.T The Extra Terrestrial Pitfall! 3D Tic Tac Toe River Raid River Raid 2 Adventure Ms Pac Man Pitfall 2 Defender JR Pac Man the 4 i got with the system were: Space Invaders Frogger Asteroids Missile Command

thanks for all the replies guys quick note i know i overpaid in my haste to get an atari i paid 50 AUD to get it it came with four games and 1 joystick but yeah its my first so i kinda wanted it really badly

No baby drool here youngest in the house is 10 although i am slightly worried about the labrador (almost 6 years old still acts like a puppy) yeah i only have 1 joystick and its aftermarket so its back to ebay for me to go looking for some original controllers i am thinking about maybe getting an old wooden front model i think it looks better and more retro

i saw that thing on youtube is it a good idea to microwave an atari and nes umm yeah i like the look of the et game i think ill buy it soon
