  1. Gah. I really need to log on AA more often.
  2. Sold me a Vic20. Well packed, good communication, fair price. What more to ask.
  3. Probably when I started looking. In any case, a deal has been reached.
  4. Still way too much. Sorry.
  5. Ah yeah, typical 70s ford taillights. I'll see what I can find for you, won't be until next Saturday.
  6. How pretty do you need the taillight to be and how much are you looking to spend total?
  7. Without going through google checkout, what is the "to my door price" in the US, in dollars? I didn't see a cost listed on the order page. Debating on ordering one of these, as I have no multi cart at all for my 800xl.
  8. It is amazing that in 6 months I can't come up with a cheap Vic20.

You were lucky I found that $5 Vic 20 at a church yard sale ;) I knew I had to pick it up despite not collecting vintage computers. I'm glad that it finally found a good home where it can be appreciated. I hope that you enjoy it!

  9. Aquaricart in action! Decided to fire up the AQ to play some AD&D. Yes I'm 32 and the snack diet consists of pretzels and 'Dew.. Still. The AQ cart has a permanent home in the expander (until something else equally epic is created!)
  10. Oh, as do I.. I only buy things I know I'll use (I don't need 25 different NES controllers, for example). Just, how feasible is to play every console every day? Personally, I go through phases: I was in a SNES phase for a little while, then 2600, then Vectrex now N64.. My "phases" last a few days to a week, lol. The shelves keep me happy, so I can "see" my collection, and the gf happy, as she doesn't "see" a mess. Win Win!
  11. So I came across a unit a few months ago with no power supply. Bought a power supply, and guess what, the unit does not work. PS is good. I give up. *wanted* Vic20. Preferred loose/working.
  12. Since I've "organized" (Made a game room) I breathe much easier. I think a lot of it is organization.
  13. Thanks! They are not plugged in. TV has AV inputs in front and a cable around the front to the RF connector. If a cable comes off I keep it off in storage until playing (the N64 power supply stays attached, it stows easily with the unit). Playing goes like this Take down unit If needed, go into closet, where I have controllers and power supply/video hookups sorted by system in large plastic drawers (NES, SNES, etc). Plug in set TV Play. When finished, back on the shelf, or keep down on the small coffee table if still playing (I'm in N64 mode right now, so that's been hooked up for the past week.) Some people probably prefer to have all their systems hooked up at once, I didn't want to have to deal with 4 switch boxes daisy chained. This way, my gf or a guest can do it without assistance. (not saying they are stupid at all, just seems silly to go "OK hun, to play SNES set switchbox 1 to A, switchbox 2 to C, and switchbox 3 to B). This displays nicely, and as much as I want to say I'm a hardcore gamer, if I get in 2 hours on a night, it's a special night, so I didn't see a need to try and keep everything wired. Besides, if they were all connected, the controllers wouldn't reach the couch, for the most part.
  14. To any Aquarius owner that does not have one of these, you NEED one.
  15. Thanks to all that offered a unit. I fixed mine! (Exp pack was dirty. oops). Thanks to Golden Ax for telling me how to fix it.
  16. My N64 died, to my girlfriend's dismay. I need another. I don't really care about what color case it has, I can switch cases, as long as it works. I only need a console, no cords or controllers. Anyone have anything around $15 shipped they want to get rid of?
  17. I have a few friends who are into SNES and Genesis, but were shocked when they saw how much I paid for the Everdrive/RetroUSB setups. They are quite content at the flea market or Savers every week thinking Mario Kart was a bargain for them at $30.
  18. In my personal dreamworld, an XM plugged into an XM results in a countdown to destruction on the screen, a la Star Trek III.
