I've noticed a weird issue in 7800 asteroids ntsc Using both a europad and two modded nes controllers, my ship will randomly warp on its own without a button press. I've made sure the controllers were fully inserted every time but the randomly warping remains

Thanks Thomas so the compatibility list is a little off in that some games have different versions where some work and some don't. At least now I know why so thank you

Fired up my 2600+ and neither copy of bump and jump works despite both working on real hardware. Cleaned and tested. I either get loading game failed or graphical glitches like pictured. This despite the compatibility list saying it passed. Strangely I tried my telegames PAL version and it worked. Purple car but it worked. Anyone else have trouble with this game?

Mine arrived yesterday and I played a few 2600 and 7800 games last night and I'm very impressed. Really enjoying it. I had a bit of a sound issue where it seemed every other sound was muted but it stopped after a bit. Imagine every other jump in frostbite being muted. Like that. May be my soundbar, not sure as I briefly heard music but no voices while watching that new Monarch show on Apple tv last night too. Anyway, love the 2600+ and my wife proved once again why she is the master at frostbite

Yep. I always thought it odd the perception that some have that the rocks only move up and down. Yes the big ones do but the broken pieces fly in many directions

It's my favorite. Play it often. Usually game 10 on expert. I just get into a zone and play a long time

Agreed on Arkanoid. Great port on the Snes. I must confess my own library for the system is quite small. 2 actually - Mr. DO and Arkanoid. 3 if you include the Piko Interactive port Classic Kong. I really need to explore the platform more

I only have asteroids and centipede. Love them both. Quantum is on my radar since I love a tandy coco game called Doubleback

I would think, well, I would hope they would. I have the europad for the 7800 so I'd like it to work, maybe Albert knows if they work or not Whoops looks like I got my answer ⬆️😁

Basic math recharged would be a killer app for Atari, causing their stock to surge to epic proportions!

Not to be mean, but why does he look like someone photoshopped a face on the bottom of their big toe?

I wonder about lag too. Games like kaboom or circus atari would suffer from even the smallest bit of lag.

Recently got a Switch for our 31st anniversary and have been enjoying No Mans Sky, the remastered Need for speed hot pursuit and some of the atari recharged games.

As far as I know the TV issue hasn't been completely solved. I still can't use my phoenix on either of my hdtv's. I have to use an hdmi to composite adapter which I kinda actually prefer since it displays nice on a crt but it seems the phoenix has been kind of abandoned by its creators but I could be wrong. I haven't followed it closely the last couple years.

As a Canadian with the dollar exchange, shipping and the inevitable duty charges, that would surely buy me a divorce

Thankfully I've been buying the ones I really want over the years. As such I only chose gorf arcade and and 7800 galaxian. Are there more I want? Sure but the remaining ones I'm fine getting the roms for and playing them on my harmony encore.

I only have one non port homebrew and it's euchre. Fantastic BTW. One on my want list though is doggone it. Very interesting original game that I've heard great things about so the upside for me is more gaming dollars can, in the future, go towards exploring these titles. BTW is avalanche the only champ game to escape the purge? I didn't see it on the last chance list despite it being a port

Hypothetical question - what if a currently owned homebrew port dies for whatever reason, could this possibly be reprogrammed through the store for a fee? Something not advertised but via private message to Albert

Is the phoenix even being updated anymore? I haven't been following it lately and I could be wrong but it seems like an abandoned project
