    BTW, we had a neighborhood gathering tonight and I told a few people about this contest and the solution to see if they thought it was too hard. I don't think my next door neighbor has ever even heard of Atari although she has heard of Nintendo. Her neighbor thought the contest was a cool idea but said he would not be able to come up with the answer. However, my neighbor three doors down got the answer before I even had a chance to start explaining the solution. Go figure.

     

    By the way, no one has it yet so you can all guess again.

     

    If anyone is wondering how I guessed Superman, I had to use the above clue.

     

    Three Doors Down(rock band)=>Kryptonite(song)=>Superman

     

    I hope someone can come up with the explanation. :ponder:

     

     

    Sad thing is i thought of superman when i read that...

    I was working on a graphics hack of the game 'Pigs In Space' based on ATHF.  I got Iggnignokt, Err and Master Shake graphics in pretty good, but I don't know what I did with the files I created...

     

    I should start again...

     

     

    That would be butt kickin I know lots of people that would buy it from you.

    I was a chewer.  I've still got my original sticks and they're chewed to heck.  Pretty much everything in my hands ends up in my mouth (pens, keys, glasses stems, etc) but, luckily, I seem to have broken the CX40 habit.

     

    Honestly SS, how does that comfortably fit into your mouth? I mean looking at it, you would almost have to be gymnast to hold it and chew it with spraining some thing.

    Well today was the first time I've been out specifically to look for atari games. I managed to pick up a total of 10 carts and one cx 40 controller going only to 2 thrift shops. No interesting finds in terms of games. 3 of them are rarity 1's 6 are 2's and 1 is a 3. Though since I'm just starting out they are all ones I needed. The controller wasn't in great shape but I needed one for the internal parts and I managed to repair another cx 40 with it. The strange thing about this controller was that it looked like someone had chewed on the stick part. I'm pretty sure it was done by a person since the chewing is all around the top only. I can just picture someone nervously chewing on their controller as player two gets closer and closer to their best score.

     

    Ive yet to talk my mom into taking me to thrift stores so we could buy Atari games. But shell come around, she always does...

    This is just sad. Growing up as a kid all me and my brother got were Nintendo carts. I would say right now Im looking at a couple of boxes of 600 or so nintendo games. All of which were bought at the time Nintendo was the shiznit. Not too mention We have close to 150 Sega Genesis carts, plus the N64 carts. The N64 collection still grows becuase my little brothers play it more than any thing else.

    Well I once had a problem like that with OS with my very first "computer". If you can find one get a zip drive which can be read by both PC and Mac. Get the software you need and set it up to read as though it were youre a:. Of course this will only work if you have a parallel port or can easily get one into the computer. Then again this might be more money/time/effort than you want to spend on it too. GL with what ever you do.
