I remember I had a short, digital version of the song. I used to play it to show my friends how powerful my Atari computer was. Does anybody have that file? - Y - Ps.- I also recall about another file named "climax" which played the voice of a woman's orgasm -being a teenager, how to forget about it!

The whole case reminds me of that movie's motto: "If you can't be famous, be infamous"... Could somebody p.l.e.a.s.e. lock up this topic for good? Fellow atarians, let's game on. -

Just ran into this: http://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/c2000/f/171/p/336916/1176787.aspx This: http://e2e.ti.com/support/microcontrollers/c2000/f/171/p/335828/1174454.aspx And also this (that might explain the music)... http://fandalism.com/movesystems - Y - -
1.- Draconus 2.- Zybex 3.- Elektraglide 4.- The Extirpator 5.- The Infiltrator I have a crush on POKEY music. I owned Draconus, Zybex, Elektra Glide and The Extirpator on tapes; and since they were big files, I usually spent half an hour waiting for them to load. But listening to such great tunes -especially, "Thalamusik"- was worth the pain. About "The Infiltrator", it was the first game I played after buying a 1050 Disk Drive. I feel that -in perspective- it can be easily name as the great grand father of conventional games like Metal Gear Solid: a convincing plot, multiple items to recover, interactions, mapping and even a helicopter flight simulator. No need to ask for more. Finally, I'd bet that Draconus is a must for latin american Atari XL/XE series players, together with Preliminary Monty -which we prefer to call "Montezuma".

Interesting debate. I remember that -back in those good old days- one of the very few Atari software importers in my country told me that the difference were the graphic and sound possibilities of each machine. In other words, that C64 had better graphic and sound features that enabled programmers to create software/games more easily.

I always wanted to ask: why were there such great games (original and ports) for Commodore 64 that never made it to Atari XL/XE series? Was the reason only hardware issues? What are the key factors that determined this situation? Forgive my ignorance, - Y -
