After 10 years, there should be some updates to the rules. Players should include some kind of proof of the scores: an screenshot (emulation) or photo (real hardware) of the scores achieved. I don't mean to sound rude, but I think there are now reasonable means beyond just taking anyone's word for it.

Those rolling planes in level 2 are hard to deliver!

Your answer just confirms that expecting a (simple) improvement to the game is a waste of time.

It is clear that, first, the gentleman feels attacked, criticized by the opinions regarding his (interesting) game. And second, he has no interest in adjusting the game's controls despite popular request. So, move on, fellow atarians.

I like the game a lot. Maybe, you could add a score and/or have the program "remember" the highest number of villains killed.
