Hi Vitoco, Yes, there's a HUGE work due to be done: currently our Blogspot blog hosts 1100+ articles, which images need to be moved *one by one*; and the same goes for the internal links as well... the plan is to complete the migration during the following six months. Thanks for pointing about our signature. Will update it right away! Regards, - Y -

Sure! Please, PM me. -
Commodorians have COVID attack: So, in fact, it's not the name of the game what truly matters IMHO...

Unicorns season: Prince of Persia for the A8!
Yautja replied to rensoup's topic in Atari 8-Bit Computers
I'm writting an article about the game for Atariteca (which I expect to re-launch during the week). Could please someone contribute with a horizontal photo of the game running in real hardware? Full credits will be given. Regards, - Y - -
It did the job! Thank you very much.

When I load the file, it shows me the following screen... how to load the game?

I second that. Replace the skulls with rocks and the snakes with bombs.. there you have it. A really cool work, once again!

Here are the steps to take to the enemy camp and some recommendations not to die trying: 1. Press the sequence: B, S, I to start the helicopter. 2. When the RPM indicator shows you the value 2340, we will pull the joystick to go up to a minimum of 500 feet. There you can just access the on-board computer (T) and the ADF (*). 3. If you bank or try to turn during takeoff before 500 feet you crash. The maximum climb rate is 15 in 15 feet; the minimum is five (5) feet. 4. Enter the coordinates into the ADF, according to mission: 72.8 for mission 1; 17.5 for mission 2; and 26.3 for mission 3. 5. Press the fire button and push the joystick to accelerate. Try to maintain a speed of 300 knots, alternating it with the use of the turbo booster (+, -) to save fuel. 6. Take care that your altitude does not exceed one thousand (1000) feet, so that when you arrive at your destination, do not spend too much time - or fuel - on landing. 7. If you see other ships on the route, try to be the first to ask them to identify themselves (*, S: REQUEST ID). Answer them as the case may be as an ally (S, INFILTRATOR) or by posing as the Mad Leader's lackey (S, OVERLORD). 8. If you are engaged in a battle, remember that against the radar missiles (R) you must launch refracting material (C); against heat missiles (H), instead, use the flares (F). 9. Summon your firing staff with the "H" key. Press "G" to arm your guns; or "R" for your four (4) missiles. 10. Go checking your flight map from time to time, to find out how far you need to get to your destination. 11. You will know that you have reached the enemy base when the ADF arrow begins to spin wildly. It doesn't matter what altitude you are at, by the way.

I've checked the previous releases. And the versions and dates change.
-
You need to update the ver. from 3.26 to 3.90 in the initial screen; and also the copyright year to 2020.
-
Could you please share some pics? Or maybe, even better, the reworked game -at least to have an idea of what we are missing.
-
Hello TIX, Are you speaking about Shanti's work or the "original" port of Xevious? The last one mentioned is quite bugged... but maybe you can try to fix the spaceship a little.

Boy, that's Terra Cresta!

Many, many thanks Trevor! Brik-Bat is part of my sweetest Atarian memories, as me and one of my brothers spent hours playing against each other. Also, always wanted to understand the construction set, but lacked the instructions at the time. Best regards, - Y - -
Hi, Seems the same file I got. How do you enable the construction kit? Tried with the on screen options and no use. Regards, - Y -

Hi, Does anyone have Brik-Bat construction kit? If so, please share it. Regards. - Y -
