  1. Just heads up, while 32X will work on X'Eye it blocks the CD door so if you wanted to play Sega CD or 32X CD, you will need to unplug the ugly mushroom first. Also no official spacer exists to hold 32x steady, some 32X will throw tantrum and crash if you dropped a feather on it.

I know this far too well from when I first got both systems, but now it doesn't ever move from its shelf so I haven't had too many problems with it. Would just prefer to open some room on my power strip.

  2. Long story short I'm pretty badly needing a new laptop because I'd promised my current one to the girlfriend when I get a new one, but her current one broke before I bought one. So I'm considering selling off a couple items to get the $3-400 I still need.

Spectron I saw a copy of sell for $140 recently, but was unsure if that was high, low, or normal.

Wing War I haven't seen any CIB copies sell in a long time.

So I'm just looking at some advice as to what I should price them at if I do sell them on here or ebay.

  3. Looking to save up some money for a phone replacement. My current one has had a cracked screen since Christmas and now the LCD and speaker are starting to have problems.

Anyways I haven't really kept up on prices recently. I kind of know what 800s are going for, but I'm honestly a bit clueless on the Tandy especially since I haven't seen any go on ebay. So really just shoot me an offer for what you think is fair. =)

    Atari 800 -

Tested with a copy of Congo bongo and working. Does not have a power supply included unfortunately becuase it is my only and I need it for my other computers. The break button on the keyboard is kind of finicky though. It's there and still functions, but it's quite stiff and falls off easily.

    Tandy 1000 EX -

Powers on and outputs to the TV, but I have no software or DOS for this so I can't test it any further than I have. So it is being sold as-is, but possibly fully working.

If you have any questions feel free to ask! =)

  4. Worksheet:

    NTSC

    Serial #: 43596F

    MFG Location: Sunnyvale, CA

Owner: As of today me. Ames, IA, USA - Did not know previous owner.

    A/B Channel Slot (Yes/No): Yes

    A/B Channel Switch (Yes/No): No

    Functional (Yes/No): Yes

Notes (Previous owner, display only, white sticker, parts fixed, green connector, Switchboard/Motherboard Revision #):

Great condition cosmetically! Will post pictures and other info when I have time. =)

Not sure if it's the cable or system, but power plug is a little finicky. If bumped the system might turn off.

    Refurbished (Silver Label) (Yes/No): No

  5. Jordiway - read below for why I haven't just set a price.

Sorry for the late replies. Another user besides bennybingo and FibroFreak78 messaged me first, but if you two want to send me offers for just the game and just for the controllers maybe we can work something out.

I know several people have messaged me to name my price on the set, and the biggest problem is I don't want to screw anyone over, but I also don't want to screw myself over. (I'm trying to replace my TV! =P) If nobody could agree on a price would anyone be up for an ol' fashion forum auction that way just the high bidder wins? (I just dislike ebay after being screwed over in the past and all the fees.)

  6. Might be wondering why in the world I would want to sell this magnificent set, but recently my 1 1/2 year old Sharp LCD TV bit the dust which couldn't have come at a "more perfect time" right after I acquired this:

    wfHtB.jpg

This is when it was all taken apart and applying new artwork and making it look like new. It's almost finished now! I might post some pictures when it's done. :D

Since I'm in need of a new TV now (the only spare one I have is a 19" CRT with only coax input...) I feel these will help me out, and somebody who doesn't have the game can really enjoy a true masterpiece with some amazing controllers! :)

    The set:

    C7Qw2.jpg

    The controllers:

    GgNMv.jpg

    The Game:

    NETiS.jpg

Everything on the controllers and game is flawless except for anything that was wrong when I received it. On the box for the game the left side is coming up a little bit, but it was like that when I got it. If you have a little dab of glue it would be fine.

As for a price, PM or post an offer here. I will not separate the game from the controllers unless two people can agree to buy each item at the same time. If anyone has any questions or would like more pictures feel free to ask. I probably would have liked to keep the set, but my PS3 just does not look good on a 19" TV over coax. In the end though I feel everyone will win since I'll have my favorite arcade machine from my childhood. Now if only it was in an ice cream shop it'd be perfect. =P

  7. There are actually two revisions of SMB3 at least in the US market. So far the only difference I see in them is how they title the worlds in the ending sequence after defeating Bowser. "Ice land" vs "Iced Land" etc.

    http://themushroomkingdom.net/games/smb3

There are actually several changes to text in the game. Most of the other changes were either poor grammar or things they forgot to translate.

  8. I got an N64 initially because I had the played the NES and owned the SNES, and never even heard of the Saturn (I feel like it wasn't really sold much at all in my small town) and was cautious of the new Sony. Besides Smash Bros, Marios, Mega Man 64, I had a terrible time finding games I enjoyed on the system. So many games interested me on the PS1. I finally saved up my pennies to buy a PS1. I bought it used and it worked flawlessly for 3 months. Then the memory card port 1 stopped working and then a couple weeks later the controller port stopped working making the system basically useless. I was also a kid who took very good care of his stuff (I kept all my cartridge boxes/instructions until they were thrown out without someone asking). Being an elementary school aged kid I obviously didn't have the money for a new playstation so in a sense you could say I was stuck with an unpopular (to me) system.

  9. DAY 1.5

This will answer why my original comment was "trying to keep the music size small so no real complex notes and effects". I've worked a little bit on what I've already done to make it even more closer to the original. The modifications needed to do that contains volume variations, some notes to change (frenquency and duration), and a glide effect for the "oooo" (if you know what I mean)... and this needed an extra half a kilo-byte which is practically one third of the actual music data size. Well, because I've worked to tweak this music, I will keep the new data and simply continue from there.

    ROM : finalcountdown_day1.5.zip

    MP3 : europe - final countdown - day1.5 (closer to the original).mp3

    MP3 (compare) : europe - final countdown - day1.5 (compare).mp3

I love it! One of my favorite songs even if it is a little before my time. =P

  10. So should I try selling my copy with the controller set for $1500?

Sure, if you sell it just be sure to split it with J-F and I think everyone would be cool with that.

    :D

    AX

I feel for a homebrew release that'd only be fair. It's pretty low to buy a homebrew title for the sole purpose of making a profit. I don't think I could ever part with my set though!

  11. Purposefully bumping this thread, so all previously *registered* G'n'G fans see it in their "My Posts" list :D

I just filed a new issue in Capcoms Suggestion Box, requesting them to submit Ghouls'n Ghosts Arcade to the Wiis Virtual Console:

    http://ideas.capcom-unity.com/index.php?page=1&num=10&cat=Games&subcat=Digital

(Currently in the upper third of the list)

If you have a Unity account and support this request, please give it an up vote! :)

Would be cool, but I just went with a friend to get a G'n'G cabinet that was in fantastic condition for his game store, except the monitor didn't work, but that's easy to replace and always fun to have a project.

  12. I'm getting ready to move here in a couple months so "very" slowly I'm trying to organize some things I don't need or want anymore. Well I'm starting off with any extra games and systems I don't think I'll need for the 2600.

I do have set prices on my items but feel free to make offers or trades. I'm always interested in more Colecovision and 5200 (boxed games particularly) or imported Rockman stuff!

I have a 2600 Jr with one official joystick, 1 Sears Paddles, 1 Archer third party joystick (forgot it in picture), and 36 games.

One problem with the system though I can't seem to find a spare TV hookup cable and TV/GAME switch for it. If I happen to find a spare before it sells or if the buyer knows they can't get a replacement I will include one from my system of course. Please just let me know though! I've tested out the system, games (just a power/visual test), and controllers and they all work great! All games have their labels, a few are slightly damaged but most are in great condition.

    The games are as follows:

    Air-Sea Battle

    Asteroids

    Commando Raid

    Defender

    Demon Attack

    Demons to Diamonds

    Dig Dug

    E.T.

    Football

    Fishing Derby

    Gangster Alley

    Ghost Manor

    Hangman

    Haunted House

    Joust

    Jungle Hunt

    Keystone Kapers

    Laser Blast

    Mario Bros.

    Missile Command

    Ms. Pac-Man

    Omega Race

    Q*bert

    Pac-Man

    Phoenix

    Pitfall

    Space War

    Spiderman

    Street Racer

    Super Breakout

    Superman

    Target Fun

    Video Olympics

    Video Pinball

    Volleyball

    Warlords

    Picture 1

    Picture 2

    $55 + shipping

As I also said in the topic title I have a wireless controller. Well technically I have 2, but the Right Controller is not working. I get no response out of it at all when I turn it on. The left controller and receiver (assuming that's not why the right controller doesn't work)work great though. Hopefully this is something some can fix and enjoy, but if not you can at least have one wireless controller for when you're playing on your own.

    $10 + shipping

If you want both items though I can combine them for $65 + shipping.

I also have this GBA Gameshark. It's opened on one side, but not sure if it was taken out and actually used. So assume it's used though.

    $15 + shipping

Edit- I forgot I had another item set in my sale area and the pictures!
