Mario Bros (ColecoVision) READY TO SHIP! ***
Skaarg replied to retroillucid's topic in Homebrew Discussion
Well I finally received mine in the mail today. Damn post man just left it on the doorstep! Anyways it's an amazing game and it is indeed very close to the arcade. Glad I had my Mario Bros. Controllers to play. Hopefully I can get someone to play with me tonight or tomorrow. One weird thing though. I'm playing the game on my ADAM and for some reason it won't start the game by just turning it on and then hitting the reset switch. I have to hold the reset switch down while turning it on for the game to load. Not a big deal really just glad I was able to figure out a workaround. -
Yep this seems to be the case for many awesome games now. I got lucky and found a mint condition copy with case and manual for $35, but I know when I was a kid I didn't pay more than $20 for it. What's really terrible is for systems like the SEGA CD and Saturn if you want some of the really fun games you really have dump your wallet if you want them in good condition. At least PS1 has plenty of cheap good condition games.

No, sorry But you'll soon be able to buy one! ---- Also, Those who paid their Mario Bros will received it soon, IT HAS BEEN SHIP! EXCEPT for those who also paid for Penguin Land, I'll ship your Mario Bros & Penguin Land at the same time, wich will be next week Glad to know I my Mario Bros. controller set is starting to get some dust waiting to be used. I only tried them out real quick to make sure they worked, but want to do some serious playing once I receive the game. -
I just got this a couple days ago and got around to playing it last night. I was on the bubble about buying it right away since just a couple weeks ago I had played the game a bit on 360 and was severely disappointed with the camera never behaving right and having terrible angles when in close quarters and sometimes the framerate dipped a bit. Well the new PS3 version seemed to improve that a bit. The English voices are still mediocre, but overall it's a fun game and a continuation of a great combat system. I'm a person who can sometimes get bored with just a regular menu combat system, so something like this is a lot of fun for me. Anybody else pick it up and happen to be enjoying it?

Oh shnap... Looks like me and HatNJ have a tiebreaker to settle.

I like the games on the gameboy, but I just don't have too many of them. This may sound weird, but I actually have more games for the Neo Geo Pocket Color than the game boy. I just love a lot of the games I played on the system. Sonic Pocket Adventure is probably the best handheld sonic game there is. A lot of the fighting games work pretty well with the d-pad stick. Overall I think it was a great system.

I just wanted to ask has every set been shipped now? I'm just curious since it's been a month now since you requested my address for shipping and 19 days since you said 95% of them had been shipped. I figured if mine had been shipped at that point (Jan. 19th) mine would be here by now. Sorry for pestering a lot, I just would hate to find out mine shipped ages ago and got lost in the mail or something. -
I really wish I still had my Donkey Kong tabletop. I played a ton of it when growing up. Unfortunately in like 3rd or 4th grade it stopped working and I'm pretty sure my parents threw it out. Unfortunately now these tabletops are so expensive to get.

Oh Love Bites when I went over to see a friends 3DO collection that was one of the first things he popped in. Got to love the vampire porn.

I've yet to receive mine so I don't know know how bad the smell will be, but I do partially agree rmaerz. There have been occasions where I have purchased a game only to end up reselling it because the seller didn't notify me of things such as damage, smoke smell, etc. I know I won't be reselling this anytime soon considering how much I've invested money wise with buying the controller set, but echoing what ax said keep your personal habbits seperate from the work you're doing. -
The only video game soundtracks I own are ones that came with the games such as Lunar 2, Persona, Demon's Souls. I wouldn't mind getting some more though.

Currently I'm working on a site in PHP that connects to a SQL db so I can update and check from anywhere. Considering I've never used PHP before it's interesting. I have a little bit of what I've done live so I can check my 2600 games. (except the database needs updated) If you click the search form you can search by Name, Manufacturer, or Rarity (based on Digit Press guide currently I may switch to the one here eventually) and then it displays a table with the results. Considering I've never had much experience in PHP I'm proud of myself. =P www.8-bit-skaarg.tk

The first intellivision game I played was Kool-Aid Man. I just recently got an INTV II and after I learned coleco games don't work I grabbed another random game. Pitfall port was pretty decent though.

You know you want it!

Double post, but oh well. I picked up my controller set from the post office yesterday and they are great. So if anyone has the game and wants a nice controller set for it. Definitely get in touch with Yurkie quickly! The pictures really don't do them justice. They just look and feel amazing in person. I still don't have my game yet though. I'm hoping it didn't get lost in the mail or something since it seems most US located people got theirs early this week. (Mon-Wed) -
I just picked my set up from the post office today (missed the mailman yesterday ). Unfortunately my game hasn't arrived yet so I wasn't able to play that, I did play a few games of Donkey Kong Jr. and these controllers are amazing. I could not have been happier with my purchase. Now hopefully my game will show up today so I can fully enjoy this.

Sorry I thought I had copied over the new stuff, but I must have forgot.

Updated listing and added some 3DO games, A Official Saturn Stick, and some R4-R6 games I'm taking offers on.

This Voodoo 5 5500 I have has Hyundai memory on it. In the corner there is a sticker that says BIOS - AGP 1.06 if this is of interest to anyone. This card was really a beast for it's time. Actually I remember one time I had this card in a PC with a 300mhz K6-2 and was able to get about 10-15fps playing UT 2003 with settings turned down. Of course that's not necissarily playable, but it was impressive this old card handled it even that well. That's also a nice thing to know for anyone who is interested in the Dual Analog controller.

Here's the one I use on my phone. It's just a generic excel sheet I made before I knew about this site. It contains everything under US Released Games on Digit Press. I also have spreadsheets for the 5200, INTV, and NES if anyone wants those. Then on my spreadsheet I just mark C,I(or I1 for instructions I2 for insert),B in the own column. 2600.xls
