  1. Yes, the only definitive way is to play the game. It's extremely unlikely you have a copy of Atlantis 2. ..Al Thats why I always grab copies if I see them, and then just bundle them with lots of duplicates I sell.
  2. I know I'm new, but I do like to support communities I join and enjoy, so I might at least get a 1yr come payday.
  3. I got extremely lucky with my finds. Some guy brought in a bunch of 2600 and ColecoVision games and in there was Starpath games 1-5 in box and in great condition. Well we only sell Atari games for 95 cents! I would really love to find the rest of these games, but I think I might have to pay more than 95 cents for them. =P
  4. Excuse the bump, but I figured this would be something kind of big regarding Sonic Xtreme. Over at Sonic Retro a bunch of Sonic Xtreme stuff was recently leaked. Essentially it's all of Sonic Xtreme without the game engine. Just read the readme in the main directory of the rar file. It's got bits of levels that we've all seen before and some new stuff! It should be noted that this was in no way officially released by Chris Senn or Ofer Alon. This was leaked by someone they had trusted to keep the information secret because they didn't (especially Ofer) think it was right legally to release this since they worked on it. http://ss.sonicretro.org/PackageX.rar Pictures people at Retro have shown Large Image with multiple levels Thread on Sonic Retro
  5. Nice grab on the X'eye I got one myself a couple months ago. Someone randomly traded it in at work and it cost me $60. This thing was a holy grail to me since I have bought two SEGA CDs and both times they've stopped reading discs after a couple weeks. I just haven't gotten around to playing the stack of SEGA CD games I've purchased yet.
  6. Well I just heard about this event recently and am planning on going (might make reservations after the new year). Unfortunately I've yet to convince anyone to go with. So hopefully by then I will maybe make some pals around here to meet up with so I'm not in Wisconsin all alone lol.
  7. Thanks for the comments! The Adam does indeed take up a lot of room, but it plays my Colecovision and 2600 games so it's nice. Soon I hope to have more space for systems so I can get my 5200 hooked up permanently. Yeah a person off another forum sold it to me for only $25 so I consider it a good bargain. As for other Mega Man games on SEGA systems the game gear game although not perfect was still pretty fun to play. Funny thing is that was actually a gift from a good friend which I value very much. The Saturn games (8 and X4) have been impossible for me to find in any shops so far unfortunately. Yep, managed to get one early this year as a "small" gift to myself with part of my tax return. So far I've still kept it sealed mainly because I've seen the contents of the CD-ROM, but some day I might want to see the cartridge.
  8. Well I'm new here, but hope I'll be able to fit in fairly quickly. I'm just a 20 year old college student in the middle of Iowa who loves video game stuff older than him. Anyways for starters here's a picture of the main portion of my game room in my apartment. I'd say I'm very lucky to have an understanding girlfriend who doesn't kill me for what I've created. =P Things are a little messy right now though because I've run out of room, and asked for another cheap-o bookcase for christmas from my parents so hopefully after the holidays I'll get something even cooler set up. Although Atari and Coleco systems and games are very dear to me I do have one love that takes up a slightly bigger place in my heart and that is Mega Man. Currently I'm trying to get every US released game and I'm actually fairly close. The problem is finding good condition complete PC games. Let's get to the good stuff people around here will care about though! Systems: Atari 2600, Atari 5200, Atari 400, Atari 600XL, Colecovision Coleco Adam with 2600 Expansion Module (I found this for only $30!) For a good majority (I'd say easily 95%) I've purchased by hunting around in shops and newspaper ads. It just seems buying online takes the fun out of the hunt sometimes. =P Anyways, thanks for looking! Skaarg

  13. I don't have too many rare games. I just have a lot of games. My rarest items though would probably be my Harbor Escape cart and my Supercharger games 1-5 which are complete in very nice condition boxes.
