Not true for me. I put my phone number in every add I post. I never get any telemarketers. It drives my wife nuts lolol. She gets calls all the time and her number is no where. I was just thinking about this the other day. I think it's because I had my number put on that "do not call list." A few months back I did have someone pretending to be JC Penny's calling me up wanting to go over my account. I called them out, told them I was calling JC Penny to find out who the hell they were and hung up. In the 5 minutes it took me to get ahold of customer service that number they called me from had been disconnected lol. I know it worked because I originally missed the call and called it back to see who it was.

Great guy, excellent communication. Sold him a gamecube game and he send payment asap. Don't hesitate to make a deal with him!

Just going to chime in a little here. After really thinking about everything. I don't want this system (however I will probabaly buy it). All this digital download crap really pisses me off. I for one do not want roms. I suggest nobody else pay them for the roms either. We are indirectly killing the world of collecting by doing so. There is a very good chance this so called deluxe system in which two of the main selling points are the "free game" and the extra 24 gb of space will be a free rom installed onto that 24 gb of space. This stuff just really irks me. I have called and emailed Nintendo asking if this will be a real game or a pre-installed game and magically that information is not known.

Not to me, I have no idea what a telesys cart or apollo is. I doubt the average joe would either. If these are going to look the same but diff. plastic is all, whos to stop someone from price gauging to people on sites such as ebay? I could literally place this on a bin asking $10,000 and automatically accept anything over $100 and I bet I would get a few grand easy by people who just don't know. They see the same label and buy.

I think for sake of uneducated buyers/collectors The word "reproduction" should be on the label. Granted something subtle like "2012" is obvious if you really read into it. For some people if it looks real they may not make the connection right away. just saying for when thgese are resold and what not.

Yea as far as the smoker smell it will fade on it's own. Open it up and let it all air out. I recently bought a lot a month ago or so and it was heavy smokers house. I smelt smoke the one day and looked outside for a fire, cam back in and smelled it again and realized what it was. A week or so later it finally went away. Just store it in a place you don't go to much for a week or so lol.

I know I as a seller hate it when someone offeres me an amount that I think is "lowballing and absurd". If I was selling a game for $15 I would find a $5 offer lowballing. I generally reply with. No. Thanks. Maybe the seller truly thinks the game is worth that price though? A message stating based off previous sales your price seems a bit high, is there a reason you are asking so much? Now to the real point I want to get it. It appears you are mixing details here. I want to know what the FIRST guy lqchld was selling, what he was asking and what you offered. I also want to see links of said auctions. Maybe there is a reason these auctions are at what they are asking. I just looked over lqchld auctions and everything I looked at had free shipping and most games had a manual with it. So I would really like to know what the auction in question is here. His prices did not seem outrageous to me. I personally don't consider a seller avoidable because they charge too much for items. As far as the price on Stargate. Me being someone who doesn't deal in atari a whole lot, using price charting (which is what I use for everything and it is pretty acucurate) it values the game at $7. Just saying.

It's not worth $200 unless it is boxed. I do have one if interested, comes w/ a model 1 system attached along w/platform extender to accommidate the model 1. I want to do a game lot with it though, not sure what games I have to add yet as I need to sort still but as far as the system part I would like $65 and then add some value for games and then shipping to Canada I can only imagine it will be about $50 to ship.

Well, in her defense I actually dropped mine last week lol. I got one last year and I basically just collect, so on the shelf it went. The controllers wouldn't respond so I never touched it. Then I decided to try and clean a controller and test it. I grabbed the system with one hand and forgot that cover just opens. Soon as I grabbed it and brought my had down to my side that cover came open and ripped the system out of my hand. It fell about 2-3 feet. Luckily nothing happened to it and it still works fine. Needless to say I was not happy.

I don't know what trade gamestop gives, but one of my locak stores does $20 for ps2 slims and $25 for gab sp's Check if it's a brighter version. I'd jam them for more. I believe the model is ags-101 basically if that button under screen makes it brighter it is the brighter screen model.

LOL I did just that, fact is for most the ps2, xbox, and ps1 sports and what not. I told him they had no value. I said I don't even want them, why don't you keep them. He kept insisting I give him "something" for them. So I made him happy. I gave him something for them and then gave him less for other stuff I normally would have given him more for.

Yea, it's funny what people consider junk. Just like earlier when i was buying those games. The guy was handing me stuff and chucked a ps1 god of war demo across the room, and said "this is junk" then later he started tossing genesis manuals across the room. I was like really getting annoyed. I finally told him people like to get those things when they buy games.
