Medium Bob's Red Sea Crossing Auction on Ebay.
icemanxp300 replied to MediumBob's topic in Auction Central
Made in a basement, given away in a limited tournament, found inside a coconut - there's no fixed measure for that. A certain thing has a certain value for a certain collector. Exactly. I just gave my opinion that I don't think this game is worth it's current price. When it actually sells and is paid for, then it will be worth it.... to 1 person at least. -
Actually it looks more like a Cacodemon mated with a predator

Medium Bob's Red Sea Crossing Auction on Ebay.

Sorry but I'm not a very trusting person I seen this same thing happen w/the sealed stadium events. It sold for 41k then relisted a week later and sold for like 14k. We all have are "conspiracy" theorys. Whether the bids are real or not "who knows". They could very well be real accounts of "friends" who know what the reserves are; and are bidding these carts up well beyond their value, just so people will "think" they are worth that much. I honestly can't believe any sane collector would shell out this kind of $$ for a game somebody made in his basement. To even think this holds the same kind of value as a game that was given away in a limited tournament 20 years ago by Nintendo themselves... well thats mind boggling to me. -

I personally think these carts are overpriced right now. Then again I'm not really a homebrew collector so I can't really chime in too much. I will use something like Nintendo world championships as a comparison (in my mind) instead. I'm gonna say if medium bobs sells for10k then nagn2 should be worth around 9k. Basically like a 10% difference in carts. -

LOL.... If all I had to worry about was someone finding a receipt from 30 years ago.... well I think I'd take my chances. -
I just got an hd genesis model 1 in, need to test it fully though.

I thought about mentioning this same thing. Odds are it isn't. I thought about looking to see if I could find it, but I have no idea where to start? -
Just putting this here for the traffic. I purchased a bunch myself and am going to try and resell a few. I made some chrono triggers, resident evils, and some zeldas. http://www.cheapassg...ad.php?t=327754 It's real easy just make the account and you can pay by paypal. Make sure to use the code "CLOCKWATCHES" at checkout to get $6 shipped per watch. You can use some of the pics cag listed or search any pic you want. It says 600x600 is best, but I suggest having a bigger image like 800x800 so you have some room to utilize the horizontal and vertical offset, to get image centerd to your liking. Enojoy. Make some good watches people and post pics!!! Here are the ones I made.

How about if the repro carts are given away for free and a donation was made to thank the person for his time Then you are not "makin profit" off the sale of the game. -
Best Way to Remove Marker from a Game Disc?
icemanxp300 replied to thegamezmaster's topic in Modern Console Discussion
Goo gone for stickers. Goof Off for Marker. Takes it off carts, cd's, even labels. Slick as can be. Have to be careful with labels, you start taking off the label as well. You wont believe how easy it is to get marker off. http://www.walmart.c...-22-oz/20531456 -

Ok so I nabbed this lot for $200 and about $20 in gas about 50 minutes there and 50 min back. I sent a lowball of $200 for sometyhing to work with. He said he was bombarded w/emails and my offer was higher. I said I could offer more once I looked everything over. he said no thats fine. Whats really funny is he said someone offered him $100 and then later sent him email saying, "I think I lowballed you, I could probabaly do $175." This stuff kills me because $100 isn't even an offer lol. The bads of the lot (the toaster doesn't work and the gray snes doesnt work yet) Sadly toe jam had comix zone in it and world of illusion had mortal kombat 1 in it. The rest is solid. The snes are mainly box and games but all nes and genesis seem to be cib. So enjoy! -
Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc (wth is going on?)
icemanxp300 replied to Protoplasym's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Well the fact you have this thread all confused is why I posted what I did. You talk about a game not mentioning you were referring to sealed. You post links of live auctions that have not sold and basicaly mean nothing. You then get confused about when somone post what the game sells for unsealed. You made no post to distinguish that yes you were in fact referring to only sealed. You post sold sealed copies, that are a completely different game. Excuse me for the confusion and trying to make sense of the thread. Anyhow carry on -
Pokemon Colosseum Bonus Disc (wth is going on?)
icemanxp300 replied to Protoplasym's topic in Buy, Sell, and Trade
Not sure where you're seeing that.... http://rover.ebay.co...ItemCondition=3 'completed in the past 2 weeks' for new/sealed copies... looks like one recently sold for $50, another for $37... oh my goodness, and another one for a whopping $118.09, and another for $40.. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 220672408241 Not sure where you're getting "$20-30" from..... you might want to look again. This is insanity at it's best... someone sent this pos to me for free, because (I assume) they thought I'd appreciate a free, brand new case, which is exactly what I plan on using it for Man I hate replying to your post because you just don't want to listen! Let me try and help you on a collector level. First off where are they for $20-$30 how about here $10 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 160875284820 $10 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 190722166651 $20 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 150893089994 $23 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 360485011344 $10 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 140843260374 $14 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 150826864480 $7 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 190719177055 $25 eBay Auction -- Item Number: 221116998935 Is that enough? Now as far as this one that sold for $81. It's not the same game. Again you just see what you want to see. This is a pokemon Colosseum "not for resale" version. It's not a bonus disc and NFR sell for a good price on most games. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 160866674584 Lasty sealed is going to command a higher price than unsealed. They always do. -

LOL what about this scenario. Soon as buyer talks about making repros, Steve releases the stash of a few hundred he didn't want to go dig out. That would kill the repros as well as a quick jab at the same time. -
Just my opinion but I don't think it's very courteous to post this in Nagn2's auction thread. I realize it's going to get noticed regardless but still.

After seeing $33 for shipping I was like OMG. The I did a bit of research on usps and if this gets insured for the maximum $5,000 it's more like $60 shipped, then add in signature confirmation w/return receipt and it's even higher. edit: those prices are for 1 state away too lol. -
I don't worry about jewel cases either. Now like cardboard boxed games I wouldn't stack them on top of each other like that. The rest to the roof!

Trust me, Gamestop is not going to make the prices of these games increase. I get what your saying as to w/them advertising vintage games that you think it will increase visibility to many people. It's not like they are going to have on the homepage buy Chrono Trigger now! They may have a spot where it states "Vintage games now for sale" fact is pretty much the only people who are going to look them up are people who already look them up. I'm going to use Final Fantasy 7 as a prime example. Back like 3 years ago this game was getting $50-$60 for Greatest hits versions. Then come FF7 on the Playstation network. Now all these people could get the game for like $10 and now Original copies of the game sell for like $30 all day. I understand this is slightly different as Gamestop will charge an "actual" price instead of a virtual console price. The principle lies the same though. They flood the market w/extra copies and the demand isn't going to change that much. By having so many additional copies this will just force prices down in order to outsell your oponent.

Wii games are not going away. They will still sell them in stores, well at least the top selling titles anyhow. It don't matter a whole lot because you will be able to get whetever you want online regardless. They probably wont be making to many more wii games unless the demand is there. Odds are they have enough already made to last awhile and they will eventually clearance them out when the other consoles take over full force. I can still go in and buy ds games even though the 3ds has been out awhile.

Same here. I rarely go now anymore. They never have anything worth going for and on the rare occasion they have anything at all. It's usally priced at gamestore prices or higher.
