    LOL :lolblue: More Clues !

     

    This creature is from a game developed on Atari ST and published in 1986. It was then ported to many other platforms, including Amiga, PC, Super Nintendo Entertainment System, Apple II GS, X68000, PC-98 and FM-Towns. I used to put many hours into this game on the Atari 1040ST trying to kill Lord Chaos with my team of 4. Anybody know the game ?

    Ms. Pac-Man would be another sequel which was far better than the first (on the 2600 at least). No "two" in the name though....  :roll:

    Well, for the 2600 it was, I suppose. As far as the arcades went, it was about number 5: I think the order was Pac-Man, Ms. Pac-Man, Super Pac-Man, Pac-Man Plus, THEN Jr. (Others followed too, of course.)

     

    I had no idea that there were that many Pac-Man games for the Atari ! :o

    Every level has secret bonus points you can collect...

     

    Revealing this will probably kill my #1 TG score I was going to submit... but who cares :-)

     

    The underwater level has the best... Simply jump up to the turtle level (The only level where you can't be killed) and collect the bubbles that come up.  When the turtle dives, the bubbles stop coming... so you have to wait until he comes back... collect as many bubbles as you can until time is running VERY short... then jump up and hit the center of a log... if you miss the center and end up on the top of the water level you lose all the bonus points you collected... so be carefull.... but if you do it correctly each time you hit the center of the log you could get 4000+ points!!!!

     

    The above water level's bonus points are in the lilly pads... each time you jump from one, it dissapears, each one you make dissapear is bonus points... so make sure to jump on every lilly pad for the points! It takes good timing to do this in the levels with the shark, but you can get it! Once you've jumped on every lilly pad, jump in the intertube for 1000+ points.

     

    The sky level has the hardest bonus points... it's the butterfly... collect as many butterflies as you can, but be carefull because each one you collect opens a larger hole in the cloud, so only collect as many butterflies as you can safely traverse the sky level.  The sky level is the hardest level, especially once the plane starts coming....

     

    That's it... I beat the #1 top score at Twin Galaxies after only the second round of levels easy... and I can play until about round 8 before I start to lose. :-)

    In Atari VCS, the sequals are better.

    Are there and other sequals that are great in Atari VCS land ?

    I for one do not want my picture in the gallery, no I am not on Cops or America's most wanted, it is just I am an average looking 38 year old white guy and feel my photo will not convey anything Atari. I would much rather see pictures of peoples pets than the people themselves for that matter. Here is my cat Penny, she loves Atari ! Her favorite game is Stargate.

    To me it seems there is to much avaiable on eBay given the number of buyers! Just look and you will see how much there is.

     

    I just sold a system for less than I have been seeing others like it go for a few months ago, I would say this does not bode well for holiday sales on eBay and worse for the entire consumer market.

     

    It also maybe due to more people discivering they can sell there old Atari stuff on eBay and flooding the market. Maybe it is due to the bad ecenomy, unemployment, people just tightening their belts.

     

    Bottom line, you can always try and set a high minimum - I am not trying to discourage you and you have not much to loose, but I feel the market is soft.

    I sold "maybe" a Vader on eBay and advised that Paypal was the form of payment accepted, but have not been paid yet. How long do you advise I wait before leving negative feedback and relisting the item ? :x

     

    Maybe I am just a litttle impatient as I always pay withing minutes of winning an auction. :D

    I never said I hated that game. I kinda liked it. Even if you didn't have a person to play with.... The computer filled in. The graphics are lackluster but get the job done. I'd MUCH rather spend time playing 3-D Tic Tac Toe than Laser Turd.

    Hey ! I like Laser Turd, certainly more fun the 3D Tic Tac Toe :)
