  1. dang, I didn't get a PM so I guess I didn't get the colecovision. edit: just check the first post, def not. oh well, I couldn't really afford it anyway.
  2. gained 6lbs on the company cruise.

  3. gained 6lbs on the company cruise.

  4. couldn't I just cut the cord and switch the wires?
  5. Got a nice little stack of games for a good price. he was easy to work with despite me changing my mind about 4 times about what I wanted. the goods were VERY well packaged as well.
  6. are you only trading for INTV games? I have some SNES, Genesis, NES and Atari stuff I could trade...
  7. this is about how much stuff my wife took to the thrift store. I had to check to make sure it wasn't my stuff, but I didn't have that many manuals, and no roms.
  8. I didn't really think 2500 prices would go up much when I started collecting 12 years ago, but they certainly have.
  9. Does anyone know of a replacement for the 5200 power supply? It seems like I remember that one of the 8 bit machines used the same PS. anyone know for sure?
  10. At one point I had closer to 1000 titles, but I'm down to about 150, unfortunately. Even when my collection was huge, I did just fine with a spread sheet, but as I'm going through and figuring out what's left I'm trying to do it a little bit better. My database is only slightly better, so I don't really know if it's worth all the work, but what the hell.
  11. Well, I found a good thread on the DP forum full of different options. I'll try a few out tomorrow, but I still want to hear some feedback here.
  12. I have recently started putting my collection of games into a database to keep better track of what I have, (and what I don't have as well) and I am finding it to be quite handy. I can run SQL querrys to figure out if, for example, there are any games in my 2600 collection that require a special controller, and if I have that controller, etc... I'm about half way done getting everything entered, but I was thinking it would be super nice if there was some kind of application that would make it easier to enter new info into the database, and an simple way to look stuff up as well. I guess my question is this, does such an application exist? if not, is this something any of you would like to use?
  13. I didn't get a chance to ask -- it being the Saturday before Christmas, the store was as crowded as its prices are high. I'm very tempted to take a box of commons in there and see what they give me, though. I'd say chances are pretty good you could trade your unwanted stuff for the couple games you wanted.

    ......

I have Missile Command CIB. The shrinkwrap is missing, but it has never been played. Make me an offer, looking for lots of stuff in trade as well... pic 1 pic 2
  16. OK, here's a pic of some of my controllers. There's more, stay tuned.
  17. I did have a ton of odeyssey2 stuff, but all of that is gone, including the consoles. Multicarts are a great thought, I hadn't ever considered it before, I had all the genuine articles of everything I wanted but now it would make a lot of sense.

    Codebreaker

This is one of the 3 2600 games I have left, but alas no keypads.
  19. It was basically a result of her mistakenly thinking everything in my storage unit was stuff I didn't care about, and her being mad at me over a late night with some friends. She has been bugging me to get rid of stuff for years, I really did have WAY too much stuff. Obviously I'm pissed as hell but we're trying to work things out. I can't really forgive her till I get my collection back to where I can at least enjoy a few of my favorite systems cause I rage out every time I walk in my game room. EDIT: PLEASE lets not make this about what happened, that's in the past now, I just want to start rebuilding a little bit.
  20. It's a pretty long story and I don't really want to go into it, but my wife donated virtually all of my video game collection. I'm sill have most of my Intellivision, NES, TG-16, and SMS games, but I had hundreds of games for virtually every system made. For now, the main things I need badly are 2600 and 7800 games, I don't have a single game for either of these systems. I do have the consoles themselves, just no games. My Colecovision is gone along with all of it's games as well. EDIT: I realized as I was going through stuff last night all my Sega Saturn, Sega CD, Dreamcast, 3DO, and CDi games are also gone. I would also eventually like to replace my Vectrex games (still have the system), my Fairchild Channel F, RCA Studio II and Arcadia 2001, but I don't have the money to replace them now. In fact, I don't have much money at all, so please let me know if you have something you can part with cheap. I do have a list of things I can trade, I'm going to go through some stuff tonight and I'll make up a list.
