Then why is it different then my other one?
-
So its just the same adapter but just with a different label?
-
ok
So should i use it?
or should i continue to use my current one and keep it for a spare?
-
Are you sure?
the extra watt wont kill my 2600 and it will have the proper voltage to run it?
I may not even use it though. im just curious in case i need to replace my current one

I have a "Darth Vader" colored 2600 and am currently using an ac adapter that has the input of 120vAC, 60Hz, and 11w. Later, I got a lot of 2600 Games+Controllers+AC Adapter+Video Cables. The AC Adapter That came with it is identical except for the voltage. This ones input says 110-130V AC, 60Hz, and 12w. both outputs are the same. the both say 9V. but what is that AC adapter that came with the lot? Is it a pal Adapter? Is it designed for the 6 switch system or "woody"? Is it safe to use it on my Vader One??? They also both are by Atari.
Help Me!!!
Thanks!

I printed a Star raiders Overlay and a cybermorph one.
I usually look on this site and search the game.
It will usually have the overlay.
its usually not sized correctly so i put it in Microsoft word and keep printing it and fitting it until you find a size that fits.
Then i find a stronger paper like cardstock paper and print it.
And There you go!!!

Whats up with Breakout 2000?
I cant seem to find a copy on Ebay or Amazon.
So whats the deal with it?
Is it that rare?!?
I can even find a few copy's of Jack Bros. for Virtual Boy!
So whats the deal?!?

I am 100% positive it is Combat.
I compared my copy and it look almost exact.

Ok
But why is it rarer than the 1 meg and Why is the 1 meg made after the 2 meg?
Arent companies supposed to improve their games?
The 2meg was the original pack in for the launch systems and was only obtainable that way. Soon after the launch Atari wanted to cut cost on the bundles as all manufacturers do. As the 2meg version actually didnt take up the full 2megs. They realized they could remove the morph logo and a few lines of speach with out impacting game play and cut the cost down from 2meg to 1meg. Later Cybermorph combo bundles included the 1meg.
When the Atari issued the Jaguar PowerPack. The 1meg was sold in a boxed form through retail channels also.
That's why the 2meg is more rare than the 1meg but its not really a rare game.
Is the 2meg worth more over the 1meg.. No not really unless your a collector then you migh hold some more nostalgia for it. Plus the lines of speach that were removed was nothing to be excited about. Plus the morph title screen again nothing fancy to really justify going out of your way for the 2meg if you already have the 1meg version.
Ohhh.
I get it now

LOL!
Atari, Dont be Cheap!!!!

I guess i need to take it and make a quick $149.00
Then I can finally get a 5200!!!

I think the best one is the original one.
But since i dont have the original cabinet, I play it on Namco Museum Vol.3 on PlayStation 1.
-
I have seen the 1-meg and 2-meg cartridges on here and i want to know the differences besides the year that they were made. mine is the rarer 2-meg one but again, whats the difference?

I have beaten Super Mario World on the SNES and I am in the process of beating SMW2: Yoshi's Island
-
now that i got it working, i can say it is really cool!!!
not as good as some, but a good game
-
Nevermind
I fixed it by playing around with the cart in the slot, somehow, now it works when i put it in all the time.
thanks for the help though!!!
-
its like a whole pin is off center and not touching it at all.
but i have been trying to move the cart like you said and 2 time it came close to working. first the title kind of came up for a split second and the second time it was a whole bunch of brown lines.
but its still not working!

-
im not very attached to it but i would like to get this one working.
i have looked on the pins and the black marks that the system makes when it reads a game cart is off center.
maybe i could try to fix that but its pretty hard to open a 2600 cart and im not sure if it would even be worth it.
Should i open it to see if anything is off center?
