As my 14 year old daughter would say, "whatever " I must humbly apologize for that drunken rant. I had a barbecue Friday night. After 5 beers, one of the gents (loosely applied term, here) produced a bottle of Wild Turkey bourbon, before leaving. It's quite obvious, I overindulged. The insult was not intended to Shephda, whose charitable task here is quite admirable. The suggestion was for the original seller. Now having re-read the post, I see it was a thrift store, who wouldn't know anything about them. The 1020 plotter I had (quite some time back) turned out to be junk, leaving me a little miffed. Later, I learned many are. Nontheless, that's one of the most tasteless things I've ever written here. Some people (ahem!) shouldn't drink, or should stay off the forums if they do. Although I'm far from the most knowledgeable people on the forum, I'd like to think I can make a small contribution to the discussions, from time to time. That definitely was NOT one of them. Sorry for being such a moron. wood_jl No problem brother, and thanks for the post! I feel a lot better now.

Be sure you talk to them to see if they have half price days or something like that..... Morgan They do, but the next one will be on Thanksgiving Day, I will not get within a mile of that place then.

Are these in the original boxes as well? Yes they are.

I was able to get 4 of these, they cost me with tax 32.08. I think 3 are spoken for. (two to Johnny British, and one to jaybird3rd) These are factory sealed and NOS. Send me your zip so I can give you the shipping cost. You can pay with PayPal as a gift.

I'm not an Atari computer guru (C= man my self) so I'll take your word on it. I just saw them and about flipped out. They look as if they came off the store shelf, and figured someone who collects Atari computers might want one. I'm not into selling on e-Bay, it's too much a pain in the arse. I'll stop by after work and see what's left. Given this are, probably most of them.

Sho you right! I posted this in the Atari 8-bit section. Thanks!

There is a local thrift store that has (as of yesterday) 8 of these printers, they are mint and factory sealed. They have them listed for $29.99. If anyone is interested, and they are still there I can help you out. I don't want any money for doing it, just reimbursed. Let me know because they will not last I'm sure.

Went to one of the local Drive-In fleas yesterday, probably the last weekend of the season. Saw and passed on a lot of systems, X-box for $50, Intellivision for $20, NES for $30, etc. Decent prices but I have them. Was very tempted by a box of about 8 SNES and 2 NES consoles for $50, but no controllers or power supplies, and since he was selling systems I'm pretty sure they were parts units. Got real excited when I saw a box with a Sega Dreamcast in it! Had the fishing reel, two controllers, steering wheel, and a cool gun controller. Guy said he wanted $5 for the box, JACKPOT!!! But looking at the controllers they all were missing the joysticks on them or were broke somehow. But the day was not a total loss. I scored a Sega Dreamcast keyboard complete in box for $4, and Iggy's Reckin' Balls for the N64 for $2. -

Well he out door flea markets are winding down here, maybe one or two weeks left. Will have to move to the Goodwill's, and smaller thrifts. Did pick up a few goodies this weekend: 3 5200 games for $.25 each, Super Breakout, Pole Position, and Centipede. Sega Saturn X-Men: Children of the Atom for $1.00 Boxed Atari 400, Boxed Atari 400 cassette player, and a six switch 2600 with a few common games for $25.00 Not bad for a winding down season. -

I loved to play that game. I have not tried to figure out why it is not working on my current laptop. Nice pickup. (if your running XP.) Apparently, you have to get a patch for the game to run it under XP. For the old DOS games, get DOSBox. It's the best IMHO. I use it to run most of the early Id games on my XP machine. http://www.dosbox.com/ -

Not sad at all, you have a really lucky friend! -
Glad you are back Darren, and got another 64! I have both and like the feel of the C64C best. My very first setup was a breadbox 64, brown 1541, and an old Sharp TV set. I found my second drive, an Indus GT, wish I had one of them today. I currently have the BB 64, C64C, 128, and 128D. I have some extra "stuff" if you are looking for any.

That's a nice find! -
I think you got the name wrong. BUG is a Saturn game, is pretty decent from what I remember, and wasn't FMV. I think you mean this. Yeah, that's it! My bad. LOL
-
To me the absolute worst game ever made just happens to be a FMV game. BUG for the Sega CD. This game makes E.T. on the 2600 look like a Game of the Year candidate.

One of the little thrifts near me had a sign out front on Saturday, "50% off"! Well I just had to go in. This place is sometimes a goldmine, other times not so much. Like most they seem to price some things way too high. A few weeks ago they got in two Commodore 1702 monitors and ticketed them $18.99 each. Not a bad price at all. These monitors are GREAT for old school game systems, or for Commodore 64's also. I went in and scouted around, no new games or systems, but the 1702's were marked down, TWICE! First time to $5.99 then finally $2.99! I got both of them for $1.50 each!!! Coolest thing is, not only do they work but the control covers on the front are intact. They are now proudly servicing a Genny and a PS1 console. -
Picked one up today in box, need the power supply and manual. Thanks, Dan

Thanks folks! I was very surprised at how heavy that cart seems compared to other N64 carts, is this real or just my imagination.....
