  1. Yep, I tried a few HIP images and there is no flicker! They look great. I am going to see what I can do about the verticle lines. I wonder if I remove the RF modulator (disabling the composite circuitry) in a 130XE, if I can make it fit in its place? The converter does get a little warm, so it if gets installed internally, a small fan may be needed to dissipate the heat. double post..

  3. I think Atarisoft did a pretty good job with those Vic-20 games.
  4. I always hear how Nintendo considered Radar Scope a failure, but in our arcade everybody loved that machine.
  5. Try to switch off all disks. F. When playing Berzerk through SIO2PC I hear the speech, but when I fire at the enemies there is no sound. I tried the same images through Atari800Win and the sounds are there. I am using an Atari 800. Yes, you're right. Person who made file version forgot to initialise Pokey chip. Check my site for fixed version. F. The file worked perfectly. Thanks again.

  8. Retrogames is back to being updated as well.
  9. Do you have a dsk version of Donkey Kong for the Adam? That file is impossible to find.
  10. Since I replaced the power supply I have not had an issue. Before that I would hear the game sound, but the screen would either go black or garbled. If I applied pressure to the select or start buttons or in some cases the lid of the 800 it would clear up.
  11. If you're using an RF TV/Computer switchbox, then I'd try a new switchbox or better yet, directly connect the computer to the TV. If your TV has composite video input, then you'll get a better picture if you connect the Atari monitor port to the TV composite input. It is connected through the monitor port. I found a replacement power supply that I have been testing and so far have not had any issues. At one point it appeared it was going to resurface but it didn't. Thanks for the reply.
  12. I get the below screen at times when playing games. If I hold down the select key it will sometimes correct the issue. Anyone else ever have this issue? Thanks for any assistance.
  13. Thanks Marius. I will give it a go later tonight.
  14. That's pretty cool. I am a little surprised to see the term "virtual storage" used. I didn't realize that term is that old.
  15. Would that be highway 92 in Kennesaw (or maybe Acworth), Georgia? There used to be a guy there who sold mostly NES and SNES games, but had a decent selection of 2600 carts... I never saw any 8-bit stuff though. Maybe 10-12 years ago I used to find Commodore 64 stuff there, but never Atari 8-bit. So am I, especially if it's the same flea market I think it is. Where exactly is this place?
  16. I never thought the flicker was that bad. Or at least it never appeared that bad on my monitor. Not too bad here either. Worst case scenario, you might have to adjust the vertical hold.
  17. Here's a great story of when he was asked to participate in a Secret Service RAID... http://www.dadhacker.com/blog/?p=1031 It hit an alias at work today. Thanks, I missed this one. What a story.
