    So I paid for a 5200 package from Niner earlier in the year. Had no contact for over a month and then found out he went to jail for a short time. Upon release he promised me it would be sent out but now again silence and no package received. My patience is wearing very thin. This has been going on for months now and I want a resolution. Does anyone know if he is OK or what has happened??

    I have a Translucent Xbox 1 Debug Unit with an unfinished build of Stargate SG1 The Alliance on its Hard Drive. This game was unreleased and to my knowledge it has not been seen out in the wild. The game has playable multiplayer maps but it seems as though no enemies have been implemented. Most guns can be picked up etc. A nice oddity for the xbox or Stargate fan. Now system is a 240 volt model. This could be changed but the machine is currently sealed and has not been opened and I do not intend to open it. Given the case is translucent I can see that the RF metal shielding under the plastic is corroded in parts on the base of the console. The console works 100% so I feel this is only cosmetic.

     

    I'd be interested in trading it for Neo Geo AES Titles, USA or PAL Dreamcast titles or would sell outright.

     

    Given I have not seen another copy of this unreleased game anywhere I am uncertain as to what it is worth.

    In purchases this year I have been ripped off probably close to $500 in things that are devalued due to not being as described. I'm Australian and basically I won't buy anything from Australian's if I can avoid it. Nearly everything I have purchased locally lately has been talked up and when arrived has been in far far worse condition than described. Europeans and Japan sellers are the best, USA I have had half half luck, meaning half my packages arrive padded with soiled old catalogues and newsprint in a mouldy old box. Thing is I'm halfway across the globe, not likely I am going to express post something back to the USA to get a refund, it costs too much.

     

    Basically give the idiots the technology and they will use it! I'm sure some sellers will eventually get opposable thumbs and learn how to tape a box correctly!

    Time to brush the cobwebs out of this thread. Any active aussie collectors still around. Im in Queensland. Currently have a Jag, A2600jr, Atari 5200 (on the way fro US). Really would like to spring for a heavy sixer NTSC at some stage.

     

    Checkout www.retrogamingaus.com if you get a chance, it's still in its infancy though!

    Guys, I'd like to get a nice condition boxed heavy sixer system and some boxed games.

    It is too hard to find good condition PAL stuff here in Australia so I figure I may as well buy from here or ebay or homebrew developers.

    Seems you guys in North America look after your stuff alot better.

     

    Anyone able to help me out.

    At least you guys in the US actually get electronics at Goodwill/Salvation army etc. Here in Australia it is very very rare to see any game consoles as they have to all be tested and tagged as electronically safe (I guess they're more likely to test and sell a CD player or TV over a console) before sale. Wandered in today and got myself a $10 CRT TV and US Aerial to Aussie Aerial adapter for the grand total of $14 tho. I'm hording CRTs as they aren't making more of them.
