  1. Thanks dude, i was just testing the waters with the $150, you never know with Ebay. I am currently considering a more realistic offer. Some people are just happy to own one to have it as a display piece.
  2. That sound more like the price i'd like to pay. lol But i'm not as concerned with the box and manual. I'd be happy with Cart only. The box and manual would just be a bonus.
  3. Ouch eBay Auction -- Item Number: 400121145965 That's a lot of money for that game. It is the game i want most of all but just can't afford those outrageous prices. Actually i can't even afford affordable prices at the moment but that's a different story. I could play this game on my Intellivision Lives Collection for the PS2 but i hate playing Keypad games on a PS2 Controller. I could play it on my computer but same problem, my controller only has so many buttons i can program. I know i'll have this game someday if i'm patient. I could come across a super deal someday. But for now i wait here dreaming to be reunited with one of my favorite games from my childhood.
  4. Well an improvement over my last score. Could possibly do a little better but don't think i'll catch up with the leaders on this one.
  5. I actually found that site before this site. It is one of the contributing factors to me getting back into retro gaming and getting an Intellivision. But as a whole i sometimes felt i was given the cold shoulder over there. But that happens at a lot at message boards when you're the new guy. New people get the cold shoulder a lot on forums. But not here at AtariAge. I was welcomed with open arms the moment i arrived. But i mainly stick to the Intellivision section. It's more friendly in this section. Intellivision folk stick together. Over in the other section they are always arguing about who is the real Nolan Bushnell.
  6. I don't know anything about the Aquarius, but i was disappointed to see they are currently dissing it over at digitpress. http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=144177 I have no idea if it is bad as they are saying but i hate seeing anything related to the Intellivision being dissed so bad.
  7. i wish i still lived around Dayton (or Sidney, Troy or Piqua), OH, coz I'm convinced there are still loads of sealed INTV, & 2600/7800 games to be found at garage sales, thrift stores, flea markets, etc., where ever an 80s Odd Lots existed. I regret not spending all of my allowance on getting those .99 games. We had Odd Lots in Michigan when i was a kid. I remember all the Intellivision and 2600 games. A few of the games i had from back them came from Odd Lots. It was in either Madison Heights or Hazel Park Michigan i think. Because i lived in Madison Heights. Having a hard time remembering where exactly the store was since that like around 28 years ago. lol
  8. That sucks. I bought an Atari 7800 a few months back and the seller just put it in a box with nothing else. No bubble wrap, no padding, nothing. The bottom of the console was cracked during shipping. It's ridiculous sometimes.
  9. It is because Ebay eliminated that option a couple months ago. I think they eliminated the Ebay Stores so they now they combined everything into one search option. I had to figure out what was going on as well a couple months back. The best way to do it now to eliminate the store inventory is to search "Auction Only" Also when i search. I don't go right into the category Intellivision because some people will sell things in the wrong category. I just put Intellivision in the search bar and leave it on "All Categories".
  10. I decided to give it a shot. I'm new to the game so i'm still learning. I keep missing the ship at the end of each level. I got it 1 out of 4 times.
  11. If you love B movies and Cheesy acting than this is not the worst game of all time. I have not played it myself but i did see a couple videos of it including AVGN's video. I'm one of the strange people in the world who likes boring and monotonous and downright cheesy games.
  12. i think i have an extra one (cart only). interested? I have no money whatsoever. I'm behind on about half a dozen bills at the moment. I'm having to sell stuff just to get the bills paid.
  13. Another game i don't own. I can't wait for Night Stalker.

  15. Maybe a Moderator could make us a separate Chuck E Cheese topic and move all related posts from this topic over to it. If that is even possible.

  17. You could always start here with this list on Wikipedia. They have a few Homebrew's listed. It's a start anyway. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ColecoVision_games
  18. Here is a video of me messing around with my ECS. I know nothing at all about computer programming or basic, i was just goofing around typing some names on the screen to give some shout outs to my Youtube friends. But it doesn't give you much room to type with. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFC7gX6iJcs
  19. I love the video that plays at the top of this site, it shows the Master System Component and the Actual Keyboard Component. http://kentrepairs.com/General/Intellivision.asp
  20. I just woke up and searched Ebay and ran across that auction, i was on my way here to post about it, but you beat me to it. That has got to be the deal of the century.
  21. Just bring an old school VCR with you and you'll be fine.
  22. I don't want this to sound negative. But i guess i don't understand owning the games if your not gonna play them. I do understand they are worth a lot more. But the way i see things, a poor person like myself (and i'm sure there's thousands more like me) who would give his left nut for a rare game that never shows up on Ebay (example. Body Slam), while more than likely it's sitting on some collectors shelf collecting dust while if i had it, i'd play the shit out of it. This wasn't against the O.P. Just collectors in general. I know i'm looking at this unfairly and one sided from my point of view. So Flame Away. I think if you want to collect something just because it looks good on your shelf, why not stuff other people don't want to play? How about Teddy Bears?
  23. I guess i'm in the category of "Budget Gamer". I'm broke all the time. So i never overpay, i can't afford to. I try to find deals and pay under what a game is worth. That's the best i can do being low income. A bunch of Intellivision games popped up on Ebay last night with inflated starting bids. I won't link them but i'm sure you can find them. $79.99 starting bid for a Commando and Instruction Manual?
