  1. The Chuck E Cheese where i grew up went out of business when i was still a kid. It turned into a Little Caesars Family Fun, which was nothing but a Chuck E Cheese with Little Caesars name on it. They had pizza and video games and animatronic characters. But it failed miserably and went out of business as well. I know this is off topic but i remember one more copy cat pizza place back then, it was called Major Magics. Same formula, Pizza and Arcade games. But they had the greasiest pizza i have ever eaten. I guess i was getting older and could tell good pizza from bad pizza lol.
  2. When i was a kid Pizza was Pizza and i couldn't tell the difference. I liked Chuck E Cheese Pizza just as much as any other Pizza. My mother could tell the difference but not me. I probably would of ate anything just as long as my mother gave me some money so i could get tokens to play arcade games. I sucked at most games so my tokens disappeared fast lol, but i remember playing Centipede a lot and Pole Position. I can't remember every game i played but i can remember quite a few machines. I'm almost positive i remember the number call out system. I'd sit there anxiously waiting for our number to come up.
  3. IIRC they are sears version Thanks, i guess i've never seen the boxes from the side before, only from the front. I don't own any Sears versions.
  4. I know this isn't a question, but i'd say at least 90% of my arcade experience as a kid was at Chuck E. Cheese. Memories that i'll never forget.
  5. Here is what looks like a white box version of Astrosmash and Boxing. Is this common? I couldn't find it on INTVFunhouse, or maybe it's faded due to old age? eBay Auction -- Item Number: 250622634853
  6. Here is a side story. I'm always hearing about people finding these great deals on Craigslist and finding stuff way below Ebay prices. Getting stuff almost free. Well in my area might as well forget that. People sell stuff for top dollar here. Almost everything listed in the video games section is Ebay prices or higher. It disgusts me. lol I just now did a search on my local Craigslist. Intellivision 1 result (that's 1 more result than last month) Atari 9 results (and 1 of those reults is for a PS1 game and another was for an Atari Hat)
  7. Bought a couple Gameboy Players from me. Paid right away. Great person to do business with.
  8. I have been watching Ebay off and on the last few months. And the last 2 days people are bidding a lot higher on stuff that sold for a lot less a couple months ago. I'm not saying these games are not worth what they are paying. And i'm not comparing prices to the Rarity Guides either. Just what people were paying a couple months back. Here are some examples. This one isn't even over with yet. This is just one brand new Intellivision II Controller. I paid about $20 for 2 brand new ones a couple months back, and after i bought mine another new pair showed up for the same price. This one is crazy eBay Auction -- Item Number: 270566307997 Diner boxed may be worth $100 but i seen boxes in better condition go for $50 or less. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 190389747408 That's a lot of money considering the condition of the box (Tower of Doom) eBay Auction -- Item Number: 190389750147 Same thing with Hover Force eBay Auction -- Item Number: 190389750455 Slam Dunk eBay Auction -- Item Number: 190389751472 Pole Position, box is in better shape, maybe this one is closer to reality eBay Auction -- Item Number: 190389749820 I could be underestimating the price of these games but i think these people over paid. Why did i make this post? Because i'm bored lol, and i don't like the recent pattern of prices going up. I'm a poor boy lol. I'm only on the look out for one game (Body Slam) but i can't imagine what it's gonna go for once one shows up. It will be way out of my price range.
  9. I think the point is (besides the fact he is being asked to pay more for shipping), that if revolutionika had not messaged the seller to begin with, the seller was gonna put it in a Bubble Envelope. And he would of not found out until he got the package. And this situation could of been even worse. Earlier this year i bought a Atari 7800 system off a seller on another forum, and he didn't use any padding whatsoever, He just stuck the system in a box with nothing else. The bottom of the system had a crack in it, and bunch of broken plastic pieces fell out of the box. The system worked but that was totally unacceptable. And also this year i won a boxed Intellivision game off Ebay and the seller sent it in a Bubble Envelope. The only reason i didn't complain was because the box was already in poor condition and didn't matter. But still.
  10. I have seen a couple episodes of Pawn Stars. It was pretty cool and Chumlee is funny.
  11. Well i just played about 5 games using the 4 and 6 keys and did just as bad with just as many cheap deaths.
  12. All i use is my Digital Camera. It can record video. Didn't think it made a difference if i double flipped. Guess i'm an amateur when it comes to Pinball.
  13. Here is my latest attempt. Also decided to do another video just for fun. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3AWr1AQB2Wg
  14. I started off posting in the introduction section and everybody welcomed me with open arms. And that's what i like about this place. I always recommend AtariAge in my Youtube videos and tell everybody how nice everybody is, and how much of close knit community this is, where everybody gets along and everybody has your back. But of course i'm mainly talking about the Intellivision section. Intellivision folk stick together, not sure how it is on the Atari side.
  15. Wow nice, looks like the Intellivision had unlimited potential as long as people put effort into making the game. This has been debated a lot. Some say it was intentional, some say it is only a myth. http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/157283-seriously-poor-donkey-kong-intellivision/
  16. I bought 3 games from him back in January (Don't remember which ones). But he was great to do business with. Someone sent me a boxed game in a padded envelope this year. If the game hadn't already been in poor condition i would of complained.
  17. Thought someone might find this interesting, just ran across this. eBay Auction -- Item Number: 110521687020
  18. I don't think i'm gonna do good in this one. This was after at least a dozen attempts. Only once did i get to the upper board. I keep getting a bunch of cheap losses. Everytime i play my ball seems to slip between the paddles or goes around them all together. I'll keep trying but i think i'm out of this one unless i get lucky one game.
  19. Yay, i have this game. But i have only ever played it once, so i might have my work cut out for me.
  20. Is this what your looking for? Someone posted this not too long ago. http://kentrepairs.com/General/Intellivision.asp
  21. Congrats to everybody. I'm glad i could help with some tips, then you guys showed me some tips. lol Can't wait to see what were playing next. Hopefully it's something i own. Not too fond of emulation. IntellivisionAge, i like that. It has a nice ring to it. lol
  22. Damn. You guys have surpassed my skill. I'm just gonna have to settle with my score. I worked too hard today and my arm is killing me. I also would like to know your new secrets.
