    I just got lucky catching everybody sleeping. Most of the time i wouldn't stand a chance. lol

     

    My Goodwill is pitiful. They rarely even have video games at all. Most of my thrift stores are lack luster. I have gotten lucky a few times but it is very rare.

    Haha! Dude gets the golden auction we've all dreamed about finding. It's fitting really. Rev, Dude and I have been having ongoing PM's for the last four years or so and he's always said this would likely be the only way he'd get a Spiker so I think it's really cool it was him that found it. Seriously best $100 you've ever spent. Particularly when you're done trading and selling the extras. I'd love to see an accounting of what you end up with when all is said and done. Since I supect you'll far exceed $100 in sales and trades you're going to end up with a better than free Spiker. :)

     

    This is all i can think of to say to that.

    Would you believe that when i clicked on it, it said it had 3 views already and i also took the time to scroll down and read the description to make sure i wasn't seeing things. I thought i had remembered there being an auction recently where someone had a reproduction Spiker box in it and was making sure this was not the same one. I felt like i was seconds away from losing out. And when i was reading the description it took me forever to find the word Spiker. I really did not think i was getting this. I was taking too long and almost fumbled.

    Yeah, I'm at a point where I "could" have them all except Spiker if I went with loose carts on a lot of these...but I have already went boxed up to this point so I'll just exercise a little patience and what for the CIB to pop up someday :) If my compulsive side takes over though, I'll PM you asap :)

    It's almost like that Ebay seller that went bat sh*t crazy. I remember a few years ago there was a seller that started putting all this legal stuff in his descriptions and it was as long as a novel. I don't remember the sellers name but they were talking about it in the auctions section here a few years ago. It was the craziest thing i ever seen on Ebay.

    I have acquired a World series baseball, with slight scratching, and a mildly crinkled overlay so my quest has ended :)

     

    In case anyone missed the joke Intellivision Dude had this on Ebay, the letters are of course Intellivision Dude backwards. Thought I would have a little fun with him instead of just asking :grin: Hey, was a slow day at work ;)

     

    Mildly crinkled to one person is art to someone else. :)
